Maybe if this needs to be discussed further, we can discuss on how the tournament referee should take charge and influence the umpires and service judges to be, ahem, less patriotic and more proper. Also how the umpire's match report and conduct is read and evaluated by the tournament referee/BWF committee.

If I am not mistaken the tournament referee did indeed comment to the umpire on his handling of the match. Too late for LCW, perhaps, but he did show that he is not too pleased with the management of this match.

the conclusion for this is: The officials in this match officiats in the very worse quality though. This actually should not be happening. On top of that, the umpire should not be involved in a match that their same countrymen is involved too.

maybe i didn't said it clearly. I'm didn't mean that i want to discourage dissussion of this topic, or any topic as a matter of fact, i'm just saying as a frequent flyer poster like u, u must of known how many threads were created on this topic already. Why creat another thread, especially when there was a new thread that was less than 24 hrs old.

why must depend on me?? i let kwun has the headache and probably close this thread.

conclusion; LCW
1. woke-up at the wrong side of the bed that morning
2. be in the wrong time
3. at the wrong date
4. against the wrong opponent
5. playing match with the wrong umpire
6. at the court with wrong line judges
7. attend the tournament with wrong officials
he is just run into series of bad lucks and still able to manage himself. think back, maybe he should do his good friend's style. walk to opponent, shake hand. walk to umpire, shake hand. take the bag and return home.

time to let bygones be bygones.
to be fair to CHN though, their line judging has improved significantly since the above mentioned event.
