he lost to SS? oh crap, i pawed TH in this HKO, hearing that he is more consistent now, more eager to win because he is independent now, more mature now, less stress, etc . I guess, for what i have said before, i gave him more credit than i should

I would be curious to see that match. It was too early in the tournament to be broadcast, right? Perhaps Taufik will provide some info himself, we'll see.

All I can say is he better not repeat this performance come AE 2010! I'm only there for QF, SF, F days.

I was there... He had many opportunities to smash and win but didn't... and on purposely hit the shuttle out.
I think he was playing like 60%

..and find out his "real" reason(s) for losing the match (maybe he'll say, "i lost interest because LD withdrew and wanted to have another rematch against him")..From looking @ the scoreboard (vs. SS in the 2009 HK Open tourney), i thought he had lost to LinDan by only gaining 13 & 6 pts?!?!?!..

..what excuse(s) or reason(s) or explanation(s) do you think Taufik will give in his blog for his 21-13, 21-6 loss to Simon Santoso in this yr's HK Open??
a) i couldn't deal w/the draft as it was just too strong?
b) i wanted to give Simon Santoso a chance to go further and win another SS?
c) i didn't get enough rest & training time prior to coming to HK?
d) i want to rest up for next week's CHN Open?
e) Simon was just too good for me?
f) i got up on the wrong side of the bed in the morning?

TH knew i pawed him to win over simon, so he lost to simon just to spoil cooler's paw
