Thanks Paul. I find BG80 pretty much stays put with my current stringer. In the past it's dropped fairly dramatically but I've weeded out the good stringers from the not so good, so I have consistency there.
I'm going to stick with 24lbs, largely so I can compare apples with apples, and from there we'll see how things go. There seems to be consensus that the 62 works better at lower tensions, so I might even try that next as I've never used anything under .66. Curious to see how you go with the Maxima. |

Tried briefly my zymax 62 on Superwaves 35 at 25lbs, string moves alot on cross and main. Never experience it before. Excellent sound and repulsion with good control. Might still to it long term. Just find moving the string back a hassle. LOL

String is good. I am just lazy to shift it back that's all. But for the price it is still bearable

I like moving strings back. Nice routine between points.

Agreed ET, I like that too. An extra moment to cool off.

Haha, I'm the biggest time waster. Makes up for my complete lack of fitness.

Adjusting strings helps me to catch my breath, shake off the last rally, and ready myself for the next point, sharpen my concentration.
These strings really do wiggle quite a bit, no matter the tension. Though after quite a bit of testing, these are very very good strings, but I will save them for when I get stronger. To get the feel I'm looking for, I'd need to string these at 24 or 25 and I simply can't flex these strings at that tension. I'm most likely sticking with BG66 at 22/25, unless this last ZM62 at 23lbs changes my mind. |

You know sometimes when you are on a roll, you feel liek just continuing so that opponent cannot stop and think. LOL That's y i don't like to adjust string. And for zymax, it is not just the main that moves, even the cross moves. So after every shot i got alot of strings to move it back

True, capitalize on momentum sometimes. Though really, string movement doesn't really matter a whole lot IMO. It doesnt affect my shots too much, if at all. So sometimes I don't even worry about it. A good strong clear will usually be a good reset button.
