That's very irregular. You should do other exercise to keep in shape and healthy.

these days i only play 1 long session (5hrs from 6 to 11 pm) per week. i know i know............im like an ommelete around 10:30pm
basically 1 lost about 1.5 to 2 kgs every session i did. So for those who wants to loose some weight, forget all about those expensive program they are useless compare to badminton. In fact i have never weight more than 74kg (my height is 178) all my life and i also never watch what i eat, i eat anything i want whenever i want and how much i want :)

5 hrs session is pretty good even thought you turn into an omelette :D:D. For me, I can only do 3 hrs max and I am dead :crying:

As for weight lost, I can never keep those weight off. I probably lose a pound after playing. But after dinner, those weight comes back . However, I did go from 174lb to 170lb mostly because of eating habit (I think).

I have to agree, however, badminton is far better than a gym membership. I get to sweat and a whole lots of exercise, plus it is a whole lot more fun than riding a stationary treadmills or elliptical machine

    My schedule looks like this:

    Tuesday: 1h30 (giving youth training)
    Wednesday: 2h30
    Thursday: 1h (giving youth training)
    Friday: 3h ( Training )
Sunday: 5h (2h in the morning, 3h in the afternoon)

Last year I only played once / week, but now I am getting better every week.

Previously is once in a week. But because of busy schedule, now has been reduced to about once in every 2-3 weeks. Miss the atmosphere where all buddies gather and play badminton together...

Haha, what an astute observation. Their partners will go crazy for being alienated for being left alone a whole week.
