It looked pretty much the same, except Red was replaced with Blue at the four corners of the frame. This is the reason I think mx70 will be flexier, blue is somehow an indication of flexiness, eg bravesword 12.

The color Gold wasn't so obvious, maybe because of bad quality scan.

Interesting. Kwun said he had info it would be stiffer. I guess we'll wait and see. Either way, based on what I've heard so far, and my extremely positive impressions with the MX80, I'll probably buy it to test out on release.

it seems like they have a typo. should be the description of the X80 instead.

    Thanx tyshk for the dig!

I predict this mx80 thread will wane off while that mx70 thread explodes! :)

No matter how the MX70 pans out, my guess is the MX80 will still always have a dominant role. It's still my "hero" racket lol.

    Naim, u r just right...last night i play with my both BS12 & MX80 (yes, items received yesterday..thanks to eric :))

what can i say, i love MX80 more than VT80/BS10/BS12.....for the very first time play with MX80, it just awesome. :D the shaft/frame is not stiffier/heavier than VT80....and VS850 @26lbs feel great too.

smash/netplay/dropshot/backhand is much more easier....and i am not sure whether my VT80 will sit longer time in the bag afterwards :p

So do you prefer the MX80 to your VT80? How would you compare the two? And is your VT80 3U or 4U?

    Thanks! :)

My VT80 is 3UG5 ..but MX80 is 4UG2.everything u said about it is true..and for VT80, it will slow me down even with better power and control. I play double mostly. mX80 is not dissapointed at all...

My MX80 came two days ago but I didn't know until yesterday. 4UG2 strung with zymax 62 at 23 lbs. Played a 4 hour session with it yesterday and all I have to say is wow. Racquets I own include NS9000x, ARC8DX, ARCZS, AT900T, PP T2, and NS 4500. I've got to say that the MX80 is a far better racquet than any of them. The clears were effortless, smashes were powerful, and my favourite, the backhands were effortless. Feels like a stiffer version of my T2. Gotta give it two thumbs up!

For doubles play a 3U VT80 might be a tad excessive, who knows. I've ordered the 4U version, will see how that performs.

Those of you with 4U, just curious, what's your bp measurement?
    Is it somewhere around 300mm?
    TIA.

Mine is 4UG2 strung with zymax 62 and overgripped with RKEP G09 white but only has a bp of 290mm.
Another thing I found with my MX80 is that it is a bit longer than my NS9000x, ARC8DX, AT900T, ARCZS and significantly longer than my Ti-7
