so just lets the mystery continue....thats will make badminton more beautiful.....i will upload the picture when TH retired one or two years ahead.....
I actually spent a little bit of time to count the number of main strings above the first cross string at the top of Taufik's racquet (Arc Z TH cosmetics) in the photo provided by demolidor. If I counted correctly, it is 14. On a retail Arc Z TH however, it is 12. On the other hand, on a retail Arc 10, it is 14. Make your own conclusions.
did jung jae sung use bravesword12 or superwave37 for a game or 2 in the recent tournaments? because i swear i saw him using a blue shaft racket
You mean he's now using the BS12 more than the SW35? Not that I'm surprised, just curious. Good players don't find much difference between rackets and how they perform, despite the different specs. We're all "head heavy" this or "extra stiff" that to eg. get better smashes or more control - if we bothered to improve our technique by 1%, our performance would increase by 100%. The racket probably only improves our performance by 0.001% hehe.
It was only round 2 still after all against an opponent they should defeat on paper, it's quite likely he would switch back to SW35 in the next round . And I agree that searching for the holy grail of rackets while your technique and physique are far from optimal and even less important when you're not even intending to compete on a high level/competitive play. All that aside for most it's just about the joy of playing and having a couple of different types or shiny latest models surely attributes . No harm, no foul Personally I have enough goodies to last a good while but it's still tempting when new exotic stuff is released like the Gosen Ryoga series. So far resisted the temptation ...
I agree, it's so tempting to buy new shiny equipments where you can brag especially woven racket so.. you want to become a samurai that excel in speed?
Any update on which rackets the pros are using at the Indonesian Open? Looks like two VT80's are clashing for at least one final tonight?
LCW and PG..does anyone know what weight version PG uses? Anyone else notice LCW's smash is more potent with the VT80 compared to AT900p? PG should think twice before lifting..
There was a thread recently with some educated guessing that PG uses a 4U version, but no one seems to be able to verify this. Photos have been taken showing that LCW uses a 3U version. I don't really think LCW's smash has become more potent - if you watch most of his games in 2010, he was already producing comparable power smashes.
I agree. I think is not a Z-Slash. I have a Z-Slash and the arc on the top of the head is totally diferent.
