Depends...for doubles, the BS09, for singles, the BS10. BS10 is head heavier and stiffer, which is nice for singles as you've got more time for each shot and accuracy is more important than speed. The BS09 is not as head heavy as the BS10 - I felt that way for some time too, but it's really not. Sometimes a slightly softer shaft can make the racket feel a little head heavier than it is as the racket head does not follow your movements as sharply as a stiffer racket would. One of the reasons the MX80 feels so very quick, imop.
Anyhow, I rarely use anything other than those 2 and the PP Trinity 2.

thanks bro...really good info for me. as i keep wondering why the rackets feel different from what it supposed to behave....BS09/BS10 looks pretty good combination....and BS11 is compromise between both, i think.

Yeah, if you have say two shafts of the same stiffness and put a light head on one, and a heavy on another, the latter one is going to feel less stiff than the former.....despite what the manufacturer prints on the shaft.

Jackie, what codes are your BS09-10? What stiffness ratings do they have printed on the handle? Old models I presume?

Everything is DE coded, BS09 with 3/5 rating for stiffness and BS10 with ~4/5 (old scale).

Hey, does anyone have any insider info regarding the latest Korean team wear? I managed to get one of the Surdiman cup Korean Team shirts from Eric literally as the comp was being played, but now I think he might be a little bit dark on Victor and is asking that if I can get a shirt code then he can ask them.

lolz, just watching the semis of the China Open with Boe/Moe v LYD/JJS....what a great advert for Yonex strings! Seven broken in one match. Victor strings? Zero.

Well I would probably chalk this up to BoMo's inferior technical abilities rather than the strings :D They're great tactically, but not really very good technically when compared to the other top pairs. They make up for it with tactics and their ability to take off the pace - but they really do break a lot of strings. In the semis at the FO, they broke 3 or 4 strings compared to 0 or 1 on the Korean side - in a match where they weren't even on the attack all that much.
I don't think Victor strings are any better or worse than Yonex - it's mostly up to preference and whether you can deal with the high tension loss of Victor strings (or afford replacing them twice a month).

I thought twice about it, let me tell ya! ;)

Actually I have 5 packets of VS850 here so I'm going to use them up with the next batch of rackets. No point spending more money than I have to!

Well, we already know the MX60 is coming. You didn't expect it to be stiffer than the 80, did you?

Any guesses on what Colour it's going to be? My guess is red, but I think the MX90 will be red so maybe.....yellow? :)

For YOU maybe. The BS09 is not available in Taiwan now, so LYD is going to need something mid-flex to play with in the future, right? ;)

Hey, where are you guys getting your Victors from these days? I'm going to get either a BS09+BS10 or BS10+SW37. Eric can't get the 09 so he's not an option.....got quotes from Wongor at Sohubuy for 2356HKD, and from Shekto at e78 for 2250HKD (unstrung, EMS shipping, Paypal). Any better options?

Shekto = Mr. Chan the owner and Wongor is his nephew and assistant or something and can write in english and in "charge" of their English language branche Sohubuy. Wongor also has a BC account and used to act as the middleman at e78 in case of too big a language barrier ...

Well now I'm thoroughly confused lol

So, e78, Sohubuy, and bbeshop are all the same company? The e78 email is definitely from 'Shekto Chan' and the Sohubuy quote is from Wongor....and both have quoted different prices!
