Haha, I realise that a racquet chooses the player not the other way around, I'm hoping this is the natural progression of my game and ability leading me into this decision. I do not suffer any type of fatigue with my vt70 which I feel has made it a good intro into head heavy racquets. It's lacking power though!

Hey people, i hope you can help me out.

Im thinking of buying the new ZForce 2, however i fear that it might be too demanding for me.
I am a Mid+ Intermediate player, i play mostly singles i smash fairly hard and i think i can do better
with a more head heavy and stiffer racket.

I don't know what version to get, 4U or 3U.

Im leaning more towards 4U but i fear it will pack a lesser punch and it might break easily due to the 4U frame. Also it is not too demanding they say.

Im also looking towards the 3U version but im afraid that it will be too demanding, and hard to manuever.

Is it true that the 4U frame breaks more easily than a 3U?

Any comparisons between 4U version and 3U version?

Help me out, i can't sleep. Thanks! :)

BTW, im a former 4U JJS user. BP of 287. I don't get the power im expecting with it, but it still performs good.

I went 3u. The transition between the 4u ZForce and 3u Zforce 2 is minimal. I did hear from a fellow BC member that the 4u lacked a bit of punch.

Oh, then i guess i'll go 3U instead.

Is it true that ZF2 frame breaks easily?

    Thanks

Never had a problem with it. I've been very picky with who I use my Z-Force 2, meaning I generally use it with competent players I know well. Had a tiny paint chip from a clash (my fault) but other than that it's all good.

You're using a 4u now so you should know they don't just break for no reason. Also I would recommend you stick with the 4u because the zforce 2 will still be more demanding than the jjs

Saw one in my local store. So beautiful, didn't expect it to be that gorgeous. Frame is thin. I didn't even notice the smaller head size, i don't think it will even bother me. But the price........ SP Code $300 with string. I don't think that's a fair deal. Gonna go get one online

Also, when i bended the shaft i think it's just the same stiffness as my JJS. I don't think there is much difference....... But that's only me

Bending the shaft by hand and bending it naturally by your swing will be totally different. Also it depends how HH one is compared to the other as it will give you a totally different feel.
