Man wish I could like all the pics posted. So I'll do this instead. tolusuke, giggle, and ..JT.. : thanks for the pictures! I think JT posted in a diff thread, but I'll make a mention here anyway because of the pictures. I'm really glad the BC community can come together so that these pictures could be possible.
Ferrerkiko: if yonex were to give LD a new model they might as well give it to one of their players in this list http://yonex.com/players/badminton-players rather than give it to a Li-Ning ( rival company sponsored player) and zf 2 is also black so we are just assuming ahah
Does anyone know what racket Lee Hyun IL is using now? I understand that he recently signed a new contract with APACS. Check it out: http://www.thestar.com.my/Sport/Badminton/2014/06/10/Hyunil-comes-back-with-Apacs-deal/
With so much news of Lin dan use Zforce II, i bought it last night, will try it for training tonight. I also hope announcement from Yonex that they sign up Lin dan , dont keep us guessing if all these rumours is true !
More evidence of Lin Dan using Yonex Shirt and Racket . Look closely at the racket.doesnt it look like the ZF2?
Ah yes, of course, he was in the video when they tested Zspeed's smashing speed. Well, interestingly, all the speed records were still produced by the earlier generations of Yonex rackets. Taufik's single record was achieved with AT-700 while FuHeiFung was using Ti-10 (Black/yellow 2nd/3rd gen?) when he broke the smashing record in doubles.
anyone knows the rackt use by boe at US GP open?? seems like he turn back to his vt80 based on the white tape on the top of the rackt rather than use vtzf2.. anyone can confirm that??
after a close look.. my guess it like nr900 with white tape on top of it.. but boe was never use any rckt with light head.. ermmmm
Clark said while commenting some super series match that the shuttles used now in bwf tournaments are slower that what was used some years ago. (it would make more sense than saying that rackets or pro players lost 20% performence on their smashes in some years, while every other sports see their records improve)
I see, that explains why the records are still holding. I also remember there were complaints that some players deliberately wet the shuttles with their sweat to change the speed in games, I guess that also contributes a little bit somehow. I find the current badminton scene quite exciting because a lot of top players are having their individual equipment sponsored independent of their countries' main sponsors. I think one way to improve the badminton popularity is to separate 'state' teams and individual players at the highest level. We've already have Thomas/Uber cup, Olympics sort of games for countries. I think the Super Series is doing pretty good as there is no current domination of a particular country (China) in those opens.
