I think you are coming in this thread to engage in argument by discussing opposing points against someone. By the way i don't really get what are you trying to say. Why are you commenting on Alfa2's personality instead of giving an opinion in this thread. Anyway, i personally think that it is a thought of forfeiture of something highly valued for the sake of PLAYERS whom considered to have a greater value, which is worth debating.

There are so many objective that is worth reaching or achieving, by seeing all the comments given here. To forfeit (one thing = players) for another thing (players) considered to be of greater value, or either to reach a settlement of differences in which each side makes concessions, which is quite subjective here. Cheers! :p:p:p:p

It is stupid because it does not achieve anything by bringing this up but to stir.

When players are put together in the first place they must be right for each other and if they are not, do we want them to continue and achieve nothing ? Of course not.

Is it at the expense of the other partner ? Of course yes (clear as day, why do we not want to experiment if it does not work)--- so why pose this question/thread, if not to stir ?

And if it is to stir, is it wise to when we have found the solution to a good MD pair?

So totally waste of time to pose this sort of thing.

MAS funding for badminton is for one goal...winning and winning only for the glory of the nation...a coach and manager have to produce the winning combination to win and to keep their job...professional badminton players know the brutal facts that they are replaceable and out of a job if they play badly and others are better than them (this case does not apply to HH, despite underperforming can still keep his place because he is #2 in MAS).
If a pro plays well and win, you get fame and $$$, that is part and parcel of the deal for being pro. That is why I also say, the reward for badminton players is paltry and meagre compared to the sacrifice and fans' abuse, and I admire and respect all badminton players. Tennis players for winning one major Open can retire, how about bamdinton players???
A pro career is so short and if the combination does not win, gotta change to win. The opposition has no mercy if you send a weak pair to play them. Rexy has done the right thing as a coach should do. It could very well be KKK being replaced and the pair being CCM/TBH instead of KKK/TBH. While we share CCM disappointment, that is life. Winning 3 high profile tourneys in 2007 for TBH/KKK, what is wrong with that?;)

No issue with me at all. This is a competitive world, only the fittest will survive. And BAM is not running some summer camp.

HH is still there because we tend to be dreamers and love to hope against the mother of all hopes with the standard issued excuses i.e. "he is still young", "maturing etc etc"

... anyway, stop throwing all your toys outta your pram as I did say that HH ought to be the next one to quit in another thread.

Hafiz and his older bro Roslin is from Nusa Mahsuri (like KLRC), not BAM, so the club can choose to send Hafiz to Open tournaments. Of course, BAM can choose to leave Hafiz out for tournaments that limit participants.

The confusion exists cos LCW and Hafiz have the same coach,i.e. Misbun.

KLRC sends Lee Tsuen Seng, Sairol, Lim Pek Siah,Chew Choon Eng, etc for all tournaments, including GP, in a bid to get them a place in 2008 Olympics.

Just that Hafiz is younger than all the other MS players in the clubs, they play better/achieve better results. I think even the women KLRC players are older than Hafiz, the men certainly are. LTS=28, Sairol=31 or 32, Roslin=32, CCE =28(I think). They also go for more back-to-back tournaments than Hafiz-> more tiring.

Put all the above together = the impression is Hafiz going downhill aka mr yoyo

My thoughts on this : HH may prove you wrong. He is dreaming of another ALL-England. Of course, on his way, he might decide to collect some souvenirs in the DO, the CO, or perhaps even the HKO.

And although I am not a HH fan, I believe he is capable once he sets his mind on it. He said he is not done with and will come back. Even Misbun is not 100% sure that HH will not turn it around - so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Go HH - Pemuda needs to be impressed.:D

Ok, here is my take on HH. The lad is weak mentality, very weak. Yes, yes he won that AE. I will give him that. BUT he was an unknown then. A little bit of pressure and he will fall like a deck of cards.

Like a bottle of milk that has passed the sell by date, BAM needs to drop HH for good and move on. Lets develop some potential youngster than a "never will be".

HH belong to Nusa Mahsuri Club.. BAM don't have the rights to drop him.
Same goes to Lee TS, Sairol, Chew Choon Eng , Lim Pek siah, Joanne Quay etc all, who are from KLRC
