Thanks but no thanks kpop, cpop, jpop... I know nothing of these. They're more for youngsters like you, haha. BTW, PSH looks hilarious. Never seen him behave in this manner before
hehe but i cant recall which song or dance that psh performing i only know some famous songs/group well acording to narnia, they are training in china
I have always thought badminton players are dancers on the court; we have been fascinated by their superb performance, esp. footworks, haven't we? The PSH's dancing form just reminds me of his playing style on court; look at his stance!
- Isn't that Korean guy the team manager instead of the head coach? - How long was the winter training? - Anyone knows how much is the bonus for each player?
he is head coach. right after the Korea Badminton Championship until the last day of 2009. it's secret! YD should got double but no one knows. (I myself had won two tittles in MD and XD but got awarded only one.
Hmm..check this out.. ..according to this article (i know from 2008), he was the team manager. Has he been promoted/elevated to the head coach position? Or was it a typo in the article? Or is the head coach the same as the team manager? Or??.. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=867865&postcount=128 *Thanks for disclosing and not disclosing the rest of the queries.
Kim Joong Soo's position hasn't changed. It's all a matter of how you translate the word from Korean. His position is gamdok/감독/監督. It's the same expression used in Korean to refer to a movie director. In sports, however, the position is almost invariably a head coaching position as the person who gets it is almost always promoted to it from a rank-and-file coaching position. This is the case with Kim, who was a coach from '99 to 2000 before becoming head coach in 2001.
^^So..^^ ..what is his actual position? Is he a team manager? Or was it a typo? Or is he the team's head coach?..Or both? As far as i understand it, a head coach has direct coaching communication with the players (like an NFL, NBA, NHL, College football, basketball). A team manager is more like someone who does the behind the scene, non-coaching duties and oversees the entire squad; akin to a general manager. Or maybe the term is more closely related to a baseball manager or football/soccer manager? One who gets involved directly, through coaching, with the players.
He's always communicating with the players. Not quite often on the court in play, but in training sessions and moreover after tournament games, the players usually go to him and listen to his comments on the games. His position is just like LYB. He also discuss all with the assistant coaches like KKJ, KYH, etc. There is nothing like higher ranked team manager than coach who has directly communicate with their plays, even though some other guys are in charge of similar duties.
sorry i get the infomation from the chinese article and i also waiting for someone to post the link to the video
