INA team failed to reach semifinal, lost 1-3 to KOR. The only point for INA team grabbed by Jonatan Christie, new promising talent who expected will rise soon.

Lin Guipu contributes second point for CHN, 2-0. Let's see whether KOR MD will steal point, Kim Jung Ho/Kim Jae Hwan against Huang Kaixiang/Zheng Siwei.

That's likely to be their weakest XD.

INA probably has the weakest lineup in BD and XD since 2008 perhaps? I don't expect any pairs to really shine.

But INA has a good chance in BS with Jonathan Christie in the lower half of the draw and avoiding the CHN players all the way till SF. I expect him to get at least a Bronze Medal (i.e. SF).

If he's lucky enough, this will be his progress to SF:
    R32 vs Chang En Jia
R16 vs Mohd Bayu Pangisthu (a pity that Bayu is drawn opposite of Jonathan Christie so early!)
QF vs Eska Rifan Jaya (who already progress to R16) or Lee Cheuk Yiu or Nanongrit Mek
SF vs either Cheam June Wei [4] or Shi Yuqi [5] or Lin Guipu or Sun Feixiang -- Jo already beat Sun or Shi before in the WJC 2014. He lost to Zhao Junpeng in the QF of WJC last year (20-22, 18-21). Zhao is likely to be Jo's opponent in the Final.

My prediction on INA's likely progress in the Individual Event of AJC 2014:
BS - Jonathan Christie to win a medal, while Anthony Ginting Sinisuka [8] has a chance of progressing to QF and fulfilling his seeding.

BD - no standout pair for this year. Althof Baariq/Reinard Dhanriano face a-seeded SIN pair today and if they can beat the SIN, they are likely to face Tedi Supriadi/Yantoni Edy Saputra for a place in the last 8. So, hopefully, one INA pair in the last 8 and they will be facing possibly Choi Jong Woo/Seo Seung Jae [3].
As for Clinton Hendrik Kudamasa/Mohd Rian Ardianto, their first test is against a CHN pair (Zhao Jian/Yao Zhidi) and if they could win that match, a daunting R16 match against the fourth-seed from THA awaits them. The Thai pair beat the WJC Silver-Medallist in the Team Event this week.

GS - Ruselli Hartawan will lose to Akane Yamaguchi [4] today, while Gregoria Mariska has a chance to progress to R16 against Ruhakarn Dolaporn. But R16 looks to be the limit as the next opponent for Gregoria is the second-seeded Busanan.

GD - QF looks to be the furthest for both pairs although they will meet seeded pairs in R16. But once in the QF, they will face seeded CHN pairs.

XD - one pair already eliminated yesterday and one or two more likely to lose today (facing seeded MAS and KOR pairs). Tedi Supriadi/Rahayu Apriani also look to be eliminated maybe tomorrow. So, without a standout pair like Kevin/Masita in the WJC 2014 or the previous versions of WJC which INA won convincingly, AJC 2014 is likely to be similar to AJC 2013 or earlier where we field mostly scratch pairs.

Third seed and 2013 WJC bronze medalist Zhao Junpeng is pushed to the limit by the unseeded TPE BS Lu Chia Hung, 15-21 / 21-15 / 21-19.

Rian/Clinton is promising as a pair.
If they can develop well, i dont think the coach will split them.
They have good posture, body built, good chemistry, good defense and tactically good too (good not great).
But still very inexperience. Not too good in term of skill.
Let see their result against CHN pair. should be a tough test.
I expect them to advance to QF. I hope they can do it. but the draw is against them :D

Rheinhard Dhanriano is another promising one. Very calm player on court. Good game vision.
