How did u manage to break the shaft? My goodness. There was once i played with this boy.. he had a fake racket. Once he hit the shuttle , i heard a sound that sounded like a twig break. Of course the shaft broke.

only the proace is my racket.

    - the cab 15 shaft broke because clash with a steel racket
    - the isometric 90 light is own by a B to B+ player. He had it strung at 26 lbs.
After collapsing the 2 top grommet holes, he kept on using it. The shaft give out 1 session later.
    - bluejeff, bad stringing can destroy any racket ;)

    RACket DaMAGeS

Once upon a time, a person had snapped their strings and was in an intense game...his identity doesnt want to be revealed soo we'll call him "C2". :D anways, c2 was lent a racket and broke the...grip..by merely snapping his wrist... ahmm...the grip as in the ACTUAL WOOD THING. Anyways, this friend of c2's was nice and lent him ANOTHER racket. he then performed...a "weak" dropshot..and broke the frame...as if A DROP SHOT COULD DO THAT!!! Needless to say...one day, three crippled rackets - two being severly handicapped for ever...it was an interesting dai for him :D

Now its your turns boiz and girlz; post pics of the hardships that you and your rackets have gone thru so that we all may mourn together for the losses. :crying:

*sorry Mark, took me a lil while to get it on BF :p

LOL! Wow, I've never seen a racket grip break :S How big was this guy cause i'd believe his Dropshot story if he could break a racket grip.

Are you sure he wasn't out to sabotage ur rackets? These look quite severe like they've been run over by a truck.

Very strong guys (e.g. Mag) will break the grip, as the wooden handle if the only part does does not exhibit any flexibility. However, fake racquets tend to break at the wooden handle. I presume the MP99 is real, so you can scrap the second possibility.

So if you were to break your racquet at the grip, provided the raquet is not fake, then you have joined the league of big hitters.

My carbonex20 is on its death bed =( The cone keeps cracking more and more and I fear it's gonna snap completely.

Is it possible to replace the cone only?
