What gym routines can you do to strengthen your arm and allow you to play at a higher tension.

The 'sweet-spot' of the string bed gets smaller at higher tension

When strings are strung at a higher tension, the 'sweet-spot' of the string bed gets smaller.

IMHO, it is the difficulty (for most players) to be able to hit with a smaller 'sweet spot' that causes the problem; it is not the stronger arm which is required to hit the shuttlecock with the higher tension.
