Well, what used to be my go-to racket I had two near identical copies, the APACS Nano 900 power. Both had the exact same strings, same grip, same weight, same BP. Then I discovered the Trinity 2. And the PP10K. I'm planning on getting seconds of those once the money rolls around. But seriously, 8 copies? Wow. I just don't have the money for that at all. But if he does, the more power to him.
Somehow agree, once we settle and feel good with a racket we should get more of those in case the racket is discontinue or broken. On the other hand, the opposite will argue that at least there are 3 reasons having more different rackets: 1. We dont always want to play the same way everytime, so having different type of racket will accomodate the mood 2. Most of players are corious if there is a better racket out there that can improve their game, Im sure even pros will try different rackets every now and then 3. Others would like to just collect them

That was what I was thinking too, but when you think about it =/, you can buy 1 racket each month and it adds up if you have a job xD
actually if you are patient enough you'll find good deals. got one ti10 for ~90USD shipped on ebay bid. got a ti10 and ns9000s for ~220USD shipped
20 rackets, an avg of 100USD ea. = 2000USD 20 rackets, an avg of 150USD ea. = 3000USD 20 rackets, an avg of 200USD ea. = 4000USD forget 500+, start thinking 2000+ come to think of it, my most expensive racket I've ever paid for was my Trinity 2, 125USD.
I go for budget rackets because I'm not good enough to truly use an expensive racket. Apacs Nano 900 Power (2 white, 1 red) Brother: RSL Diamond X1 Yonex MP99 Blacknight Carbon Tech
