For what it's worth, the correct wedding date is May 1st. The Badzine newsflash has been corrected. 일일 and 이일 sound very similar, especially since Jung can talk almost as fast as he smashes.

Thanks event, he's getting married on Labour's Day/public holiday then, quite the norm. At 1st I was thinking 2nd May maybe some auspicious date for Koreans. I noticed the Badzine news also added a paragraph on when JJS & Choi 1st met.

I saw him in the md-final at the yonex-german-open yesterday. Talked to him on saturday, too (photos will follow soon). On saturday the corridor behind the grandstand was filled with korean, japanese, malaysian and other players doing stretching exercises or listening to their ipods. I could do smalltalk with them, take photos and get my shirt signed. Met other players too (Juliane Schenk, Tan Boon Heong, ...). A friend of mine even met Chen Jin one evening at the nearby railway station =). The german-open (though only a grand prix gold tournament) seemed to be the perfect preparation for the All-England next week, maybe that's why so many stars attended the tournament. If you've got the opportunity you should definitely come to Germany for the Yonex-German-Open 2012, it's really worth it.

Jjs is a great player but I feel sorry for him because he is not that popular compared to lyd. He uses the victor mx80 I believe.

He has switched around depending on his physical state, I have seen him use a SW37, SW35 and more recently, MX70 and MX80

Thank you Kwun.Anyone know the technology behind it? Components, materials etc or is it just a paint job on the mx70?

Don't worry about the racket. He can use a lousy racket and whip you up. ;)

He is a very good player. Simple as that. ;)

Does anyone know why he wrote "Chung" instead of "Jung" on his shirt for 2012 Olympics Games?

Passport reads Chung instead of Jung.

If he never has it changed back to his official name, UK Border Agency will not let him through.
