That's impressive ! I tested the Ultra Pro and the Precision today and I like the feel of the racquets. Very solid feel and yet it is lively unlike the SW35 solid but muted feel.
Tpro sounds tempting, but need more reviews and conviencing. The color is a turn off at the moment lol.
So far, after 3 hours of use, if nothing changes, Panda will say it's the best Panda racket yet, overall, performance-wise. There is no pressure to buy and everyone that's seen the racket thinks it's very cool.
85.0g, BP280 with ZM62 PT @ 25lbs. 86.0g, BP286 with ZM67 PT @ 30lbs. Stringing two more tonight to test: 85.0g, BP292 with ZM62 @ 29lbs. 86.5g, BP290 with ZM70 @ 32lbs.
Good thing I changed my mind and went with 2 instead of 1 I hope delivery is a bit faster this time, although it'll definitely be worth the wait.
If panda could be so kind to see if there's any 84g and BP300, be interested to see how those plays. Just PM mj for an pre order since panda says it's the best panda racket yet, which now I have to compare to the Upro.
@Alpinerock: Zymax 62, 67 or 70 would be a good choice about string tension, are you beginner, intermediate, advance? beginner can go around 18-22lbs, intermediate around 22-25, advance 26lbs above
Hey ! I like that name ! As one of the 1st people to buy the Trinity and being able to do a comparison, I must say that you are still hard at work in improving your products and it really shows. For a lot of brands, a new model is some times just different paintwork but in your case, it is either incremental improvements within the same model (witness the Trinity series) or something totally new with different characteristics.
As one of the first user of the TrinityPro, all I have to say is that I LIKE IT A LOT . First of all specification: Weight: 85 grams, BP: 280 String: ZM62 My Analysis: While I was warming up the first thing I notice was how explosive this racket was. I had actually had to reduce the amount of power I used into my shots, to keep the shuttlecock in the court . The most noticeable thing I felt, was that during swings that the racket is solid. As I swung, the shaft returned to its regular state quickly with no lag. This alone made my drives more accurate and more powerful. My most favorite shot while testing this racket was the smash, I have never felt a racket so powerful as this one to this very day. During the final snap of the smash, the power transition from the racket to the bird is very crisp, like if the racket, string, and user was in one harmony and of course the satisfying feeling of smashing through someone... . Overall, this is the best PandaPower racket I have used. And I honestly can't wait to use it again the next time I play!
Hey Ducky, stop posting from Panda's Cave. And you're using Panda's good computer too. Back to inspecting rackets...
so.. master panda, what is the final target range of Tpro? because before you said 290-300mm but now there are some that 288 even 280mm?
Update: 1) The manufacturer only sent a bit more than half of the rackets. 2) Most of the rackets are off spec. They are BP280-288. Even have a few in the BP270 range! 3) Because of pre-orders that paid, Panda does not have many over BP290, if at all. 4) The other half of the shipment is due in 2 weeks. Panda will not know what's left until he sorts out the paid pre-orders around Monday.
Mark A Are your orders those that are prepaid [3)] on the list or are we going to be left with BP270s and BP280s?
Everyone: please do not ask Panda or your distributor about anything at the moment. No one is going to be "left with" BP270s unless they want them, which, fortunately, some do. All will be clear in about 36 hours. Right now no one knows. What is known: 1) Singapore Distributor's order will be completely fulfilled 2) Any individual pre-paid orders will be fulfilled 3) The others that are BP290 and below will be fulfilled 4) The others with BP291 or higher, some will be fulfilled, some partial, some probably not. At worst, BP291+ will be fulfilled in about two weeks.
Panda my go to racket at the moment is a T2 with BP297 and I have pre-ordered two T-pros from Mark A with BP295 83-85g. Given your recent tests with the T-pro would you say you can go for a lower BP to generate similar power to the T2 BP297? If yes which BP would you recommend? Cheers
Alpinerock, with no disrespect, why would you consider giving up on your desired specs when, for the sake of a mere 2 week wait, you can get what you originally asked for?
