I brought My SW35 three weeks ago and I have broken three string since and used it for less than 2 hours in total. The tension is 25lb on NG98, BG66 & BG85. The string breaks at the same place all three time. Does anyone know why?? Thanks
Probably a broken grommet, in which case the grommet should be replaced. Otherwise it could be from a mishit.
See where the string break. If it is at the top there, probably due to miss hit. I suspect more of a mishit as not very high tension and all quite durable string. Alot of slicing also plays a part
What stringing pattern is the SW35 ? I am not too sure which pattern my stringer used last time, but it seems to be the correct one, just for reference in case he asks me next time, what stringing pattern is it ? The same instructions for AT900 as well as SW35, or does it use a different pattern ? Confused
I have been using the sw35 for a while now... I was using the Arc z previously. My issue is that I seem to get more power from Arc z than sw35.. why?? however, everything else the sw35 is better....i am a wrist player does that make a difference??? I love sw35 but want to get that boom!!! to make it a weapon in my game.
What tension are you using ? From my experience, the SW series benefit from high tension. 28lbs is good.
I have a short Question, are SIW35 (Super Inside Wave 35) and SW35 one and the same racket? before i buy the wrong racket.
they are the same, SIW is its full name Can any1 comment on its defence and net shot ? I know it is really good in attacking Thanks
Super Waves 35 and Super Inside Waves 35 is the same racket. Everything about the rackets performance is the same. It is very good at defending from what I have found, defence is not slow, and netshots are excellent as well.
Agreed! Its pretty quick in defence! I actually didn't think it was going to be that quick before I tried the racket.
Let me have a few more sessions with it first but so far, for such an extreme racket, its relatively easy to wield.
SW35 Mini Review I will write up a more complete review when I get a chance but here are some things I have noticed with the SW35. I've mainly played doubles with it so far at a total of about 12 hours. SW35 - HK Version - 3U/G2 - VS850 26lbs - Original Grip Removed With a Towel Grip Pros: - Powerful, but also because it is quite easy to generate power with - Quick defence, but don't expect to be NS9900/BS10 speed to be honest - Very solid feel when hitting the shuttle and excellent stability! - Build quality Cons: - Delicate drops, net play still needs work (will improve after more time with the racket) Conclusion: Very good attacking racket which does NOT lag in defending. Easy to generate power with and very good build quality (I assume its Made in China).
I have not used the BS11 (only used BS10). But from what I have read, SW35 is definitely stiffer and more catered towards attacking. The BS11 is quicker though.
I have owned two SW35s for a few months now and let me tell you it's not a racket for lazy people or players who lack consistency. I mainly play singles and the SW35 is equally good in defense and in offense. The racket does not excel in any particular point but I personally think that it's an excellent racket for advanced players. The SW35 is well balanced, very stiff for those who can use it and pretty stable too compared to my old Arc10. As mentioned by another member a few post back, I also find that net shots need some practice but a few weeks will do the trick. Beginners to low-Intermediate players should not use this racket, it's VERY stiff and a slight mishit could make your opponent finish the point. Pros: -Very well balanced, SLIGHTLY head-heavy for extra power. -Equally good in offense and defense. -Stable, good solid feel during clears. Cons: -Net shots, slice shots need some practice before getting used to. Neutral: -VERY stiff. In the hands of the right person it will make wonders but in the hands of the wrong person it'll be a nightmare. I play at 27lbs and I've had them since 3 months. Maybe another 2-3 months before I really get comfortable with it. Peace.
ok guys, I have came to this conclusion over the past couple of months: The day I sell this racket, will be the day I give up badminton. And let me tell you, that day will never come
I was wondering how the SW32 compares to the SW35 in terms of stiffness, power, control, and balance?
For your information, everyone, this very racket is the one of Lee Yong Dae and the Korean has given the racket he used in the WOrld Championships for auction, with all benefits going to SOLIBAD.
