Hey, thanks for the link. I had been looking for this tournament without success until I have totally forgotten about it. I think I prefer to follow the Osaka International, but unfortunately it's not in TS.
Sayaka Takahashi will likely meet two Nozomis back to back, and Nozomi Okuhara may play two Sayakas in a row [IMG].
Also, all top 4 GS performers from the high school tournament in Okinawa 2010 are playing. 3 of them are meeting foreign opponents [IMG], including 福島由紀 from Aomori Yamada HS.

And I'm glad to see that 木村百花 is safe [IMG].

Tomioka is the where the Daiichi and Daini nuclear power plants are situated. The town train station was completely swept away by the tsunami [IMG].

A lot of Mongolians in the draw. Interesting.

Akira Koga was last year National High School Championship runner-up in MS. He's from Saitama Sakae High School and if i am not mistaken, he is in 3rd year this spring.

If you look at his H2H on TS, he has beat Mathieu Lo Ying Ping, Pedro Martins, Malkov and lost narrowly to Kai Wen. So he is a good player.:) I am not actually too sure what age he is, but I don't think he is older than 25 (need todo some research)

You might know him as the only player to wield the TC700 in international events :p

Now that you mention it ...; looks pretty old to me here in 2008:

Surely must have switched (voluntarily or not) to the LS series by now ...

I honestly don't know what age he is.... I was just about to post the photo though:) (is that Portuguese International ?)

Maybe he is using the new TC700 ? The only way we can find out, is of there is photos for the Osaka Intl 2011. (wasn't there supposed to be a new red TC700 ? Or was that just a fake ?)
