Chris' new premises at Blk 716 Ang Mo Kio

The new place is bigger, brighter and more spacious. Blk 716 is just diagonally across from Blk 724 where the old shop is situated. The new shop is facing the main road away from the central piazza area.

The rack of clothes shown in the 11th picture are now on sale at $15 each. They are previous seasons designs. Quality are excellent and I would say a good deal. Chris is also currently having a promotion of the BS08 and SW36 at $149 each which includes a Victor bag, string and grip. Victor insoles are also available there and a host of Victor injury-prevention accessories.

By the way the BG66UM is also available at Chris' place now as can be seen in the pics. Prices are similar to Yonex's high-end strings such as NBG95, 98. Stringing is done by the two Victor digital electric string machines at the shop.

New extended operating hours: Mon-Fri 9.30am-7.30pm. Sat 9.30am-5.30pm. Sun 9.30am-2.30pm. Closed on public holidays.

Happy with the extensive range of apparels carried by Chris but I mentioned to Chris his range of shoes and racquets is incomplete. :p

For example, the white/blue SH8600 and SH900 shoes and the Explorer SP68 and SP88 racquets are not available in Singapore. The explanation given by Chris is that he had a minimum order to meet (eg 100 pairs of shoes) and in his opinion, these models would not be popular in Singapore. Which is unfortunate for consumers like me who have to search elsewhere eg across the causeway...

Does anyone know if the bubblebee racquets would be available in Singapore?

For the bubblebee, i did ask b4...they say quite unlikely as it's a limited edition in taiwan, so most likely wont be able to get hold of it

    Victor BR612

New arrivals and part of the new range of bags. The BR612 comes in two colours white/pink and black/pink. The white/pink goes well with the new ladies racquet Explorer 610 shown with the white/pink bag. It looks compact but surprisingly roomy and can easily hold all your stuff with one or two racquets and also a very functional and large shoe compartment.

Only saw two colours in the store. The red and the white version. The red version looks a bit like the Yonex SHB-101 Ltd to me.

Anyone can share their stringing experience at Chris aw shop? Are they careful with yr racket? I had bad experience with a shop elsewhere where they scratched my racket head during stringing.
