Depend on what you looking for. For repulsion i think its the best, there is no string can achieve the power from NBG 98. For control its poor, slippery and little bit numb also remember the price is very But i'm using it at almost all my racket, since i feel the repulsion is helping me a lot since i was a lazy player
I use to use NGB98. It is very repulsive however I found out gradually there isn't that much control with the string. I eventually tried BG-85 and stuck with it since. It gives me the control and power that I need and I like the feel as well.
what tension do you guys string ngb 98 at ? , and compare to the bg 66 , because i have been using bg 66 for a long time and i like thin strings !
It's much, much more powerful than BG-66 but has very little feel. If you like the feel BG-66 gives you, NBG-98 probably isn't for you but if you're looking for power, NBG-98 won't disappoint.
It was strung at 25x27. Same tension which I use on the BG-85. BG-66 is a bit on the soft side which would explain for the lack of feel.
what do you mean? Anyway, i'm using the BG65 Ti on my Arc10 & it has a very good feel & control at 23 x 24lbs.
lol Thankyou for such a short answer - my next question is , how come mp 100 is more of a singles player racket than armortec 700?
That's a good question. *thinks long and hard about MP100 and AT700* My only guess is that the MP100 is more manoeuvrable than the AT700. As much as a head heavy racket is good for smashing, you need to do other things too, making the more balanced MP100 preferable to the AT700. There's probably another reason but that's the best I can come up with.
My son has BG66 on his carb 21 @21#s...nice sound and power. I have arc10 with NGY95 @ 27/29#s, and has the same great sound when smashing, but more power.
my coach said. the difference between these strings are the radius....the smaller it is...the better it bounce...which means better smash. however less durable...for example: bg 85. and the bigger it is...the slower it is and less bounce...however more durable. for example bg 65..... my coach also said...the difference between bg 65 and the most expensive strings are not that big. the tension matters more.... for people who have GREAT knowledge on strings...please teach me....or tell me....what strings i should get for a flex racket and my mp100. THANK VERY MUCH!!!!!!!
personally..i got a mp 100.....mp 100 is definitely...definitely...not for singles. i have been playing it for 2 years....horrible defense. .....AT 700 is probably 1 of the best single rackets...out there....they cant really compare with each other....they are 2 different type of rackets....
