Jyeung, thanks for the pics. As for the totem pole and glass scultures, I understand CO is low budget operation like a B Class movie, those 'trophies' look like those I buy from Dollarama, made in China thingie:D

Now I see the real champion TCS with a display of some of his "monkey" antics in post #73.

jyeung, would you mind revealing a picture of yourself for all to acknowledge your beautiful work? :D

Thank you all for all the kind words and liking my photos! I hope most of you don't mind the way I chose to photo chronicle this year's Canada Open. I noticed there has been abnormally high viewers traffic on a this thread, I assume, looking for the infamous incident. If you are one of those, I'm sure you've found them somewhere else already, and I can assure you that the shots that I took add nothing to giving you further information. And ultimately, my choice is to post only photos that I feel is beautiful:)

jyeung, we truly appreciate your contributions.

And I'm particularly envious that you had such good lighting, both artifical and natural, to work with. :)

I felt she reminded me of another player!
    Now I recall.... Bella!
These two girls could almost pass off as sisters, at times!

which country he play for? maybe really no player to select and he is the only choice.. lucky for him though, able to play in the world class event.

You have been fair to all players and officials alike. For some players you've captured them in unlikely poses and in great emotions.

You even gave us a sampling of the beautiful stadium in your own "artistic style" and a closeup of the prizes that has a cultural value related to Vancouver's heritage?

You decided tastefully not to publicise too much of the infamous "incident" by showing us two photos in B&W, perhaps telling us that it was a "BLACK" day for badminton ... and more, which fellow BCers can identify with.

But the more creditable thing is that you willingly spent so many of your precious hours delivering the beautiful pictures to us that made the Canada Open 2013 a most memorable tournament, hitherto of relatively low interest to many badminton fans.

    Well done Joseph!

He is Canadian and is partnered with our own brad mear (another forum member). They lost in two games with very respectable scores (15-21, 18-21) to a pair from the US. Just because someone is heavy set doesn't mean that they are unable to play well. I didn't see the match but I would imagine that Jason Wong was moving well enough to get the shuttle and play a great return and even win points!
