    Demolidor,

Thank you for the reply. I am grateful to this thread which has helped me verify two rackets I bought as genuine (NS9KS and Cab 35). This thrad is indeed living up to its real intention by drifit - "There are many members buying Yonex rackets from friend or used rackets from friends. These members are seeking for help to verify whether it is genuine or fake. I hope this thread will help a bit in the decision".

I didn't want to disclose the name of the BCer whom tried to sell me a fake as I didn't believe he knew it nor do I want to bill someone a cheat without proof. This forum had by far been the least venomous maybe because it's organized and supported by folks who loved this game. I don't hope for this thread to be use by people for mud slinging. If you PM me, I'll tell you :).

The "thread" drifit is talking about is not this current thread but http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...uying-Enquiries-(no-ebay-s-or-online-auction) ;) Which I also linked to in my last answer ...
Either you can post there as a potential buyer or the current bc members owning it can post it here to have verified before selling.
As far as the username: personally I don't need to know as I won't be in the position to buy it locally anyway. It's for the potential buyers to be aware that username X has fake rackets in his/her posession ... (whether or not intentionally).

Since the AT series did not exist back in 2002...then why would there be a genuine AT racket made in 2002? Obviously counterfeit...

Pretty sure no one will make a counterfeit Carbonex Star 1...
However, please try to understand the date code 121018JP....if you fully understand this, the answer is quite clear.
