Thanks for a very good read (post#355), Master Panda. This is hard to come by nowadays. ;) :)
I thought you hung up your rackets for some unknown reasons but good to know it's the contrary. You even gone up one level. *Respect*
Picture of the PANDA POWER PANDAMONIUM please.

The racket is all black right now, no design yet.

I think I will have a contest for a racket design and the winner will receive a few of PPPs. I'll have 1st, 2nd, 3rd place to make it more interesting.

    Sound like fun? :D:p

Sounds like a clever way to get a few dozen free designs! :D :D :D :D

PS: The easiest method is to do what other manufacturers do - copy, brazenly copy, copy away!

i imagine that the design of the racket will be black and white, similar to the kblaze, but with a look similar to that of a panda's coat.

dinkalot, you mentioned before that the APACS specs were off. so it would be safe to assume that the descriptions of the rackets will be based on your discoveries as opposed to the advertised specs, right?

I'd love to enter... but do you accept a design made with MS Paint?:p

(or is there a super secret racket-designing software package floating around on the web?)

I think you should just steal the babolat Xfeel blast paintjob...I love the look of that thing:eek:

Of course, why would Panda put up useless or inaccurate information? We already have that. :p

im still just waiting to see the newest review! The new reviews im eager to see are some apacs, and chao pai, although im pretty sure i can guess what the reviews will say. "Great bang for the Buck!"

Dink, i didnt know you were venturing into racket manufacturing!!! Plz do choose a good color scheme. Its sad to see a wonderfully awesome racket like the woven 7 with a pretty bad-a** color scheme, and then see sotx follow it up with what they did to the w7i. I think you said something like "It was beat with an ugly stick"

    My thoughts exactly.

Jerby, MS paint fails. There are some excellent free image editing applications readily available on t'internet. Check out the GIMP and Paint.NET. There are many others also, Google is your friend.

well, I'm trying to download osme rand0om stuff, hadn't come across paint.net though, thanks!
The problem is more, say one of us makes a pretty picture, the racket-manufacturer still has to switch it over to their software/designers-stuff for the racket-manufacturing...

Very true. I'd imagine a graphic artist could do it quite easily though. A lot of first deigns are not done in fully rendered 3D. Many will be hand drawn or designed in 2D apps before the best (or at most, a few choice designs) will be ported to 3D. If you just design the decals in a 2D application, it can often be overlayed on to the final design.

Jerby likes the Karakal Tattoo design.
I'm predicting that his submissions for Dinkalot's design contest will come with 3-D glasses and a free dose of migraine medication.:p

DinkAlot, need your help here... which Apacs racket is the most 'head-heavy' - Lethal 35 or NP9900 or ...?? The 'head-heaviness' gives me lots power for smashing especially near base-line.

    All you smashers. :p

Panda does not advocate extremely head heavy rackets.

The heaviest is going to be probably the VH1500 or Lethal 30/35.

It depends on the weight of the racket too. APACS is not very accurate with its specs. I've had ES7s weigh 84g to as high as 90g. :p
