Even it's not Bam's fault, sometimes its the problem with the players themselves I won't be surprised to see Lim/Goh beat Koo/tan in 2 games.

To be fair to Lim/Goh, give them some times, I think they are much more consistent as compared to other elite pairs, They have consistently beating Korea two young pairs.
Now they beat Chinese 2nd rank pair.... unlike other Malaysia elite pairs, they can beat one top pair, that is all they can ! After that no show and they can even lost to an unherald pair easily.

 

Next they wil up against Cai/Fu of China

 

Their opponents are all cap ayam's pair lah.....

 

Up till now. Today's opponents are Brand Essence Of Chicken.

NATIONAL men's doubles chief coach Tan Kim Her has introduced a tougher regime for his players, who must undergo a daily training schedule of three sessions and they will be barred from international tournaments if they are indisciplined.
Kim Her has only exempted senior pair Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong from the three sessions as they are not used to the system yet but said they were bound by other rules.

The back-up pairs have been undergoing three training sessions daily for almost two years while Hoon Thien How and Ong Soon Hock, who were under the elite squad previously, will now also undergo similar training.

Kien Keat-Boon Heong will be guided by Pang Cheh Chang but Kim Her doesn't want to force them into drastic changes yet as the duo are used to the more conventional two-session training.

Kim Her added that attendance will be taken daily to monitor the players, especially the physical conditioning sessions at Juara Stadium as well as in Bukit Jalil and players who continuously miss sessions can expect to be banned from competing in international tournaments.

"Discipline will be the key factor if the doubles squad are going to be successful and the rules are the same for everyone. The only reason I exempted Kien Keat-Boon Heong from the early morning session is that they are not used to it and I don't want to force them too early," said Kim Her.

"Kien Keat-Boon Heong may join the additional session if they are willing to spend some extra hours early in the morning.

"I had a discussion with Kien Keat-Boon Heong today (yesterday) and explained to them about the whole arrangement and the tournament plan until the Olympics. They will receive every attention possible to strike gold in the Olympics.

"We will have a 40-minute joint session daily and after that, Cheh Chang will put Kien Keat-Boon Heong through drills with the back-up players utilised for sparring.

"If Kien Keat-Boon Heong need an additional session or more sparring, they can ask the coaches and it will be provided. All they must do is focus on the Olympics and every other aspect will be taken care off.

"Their next events are the Denmark Open (Oct 18-23) and French Open (Oct 25-30) where they must, at least, reach the semis."

Kim Her said the attendance list will be displayed at Juara Stadium, thus making it easy to identify players who miss training.

"The main reason I have an early morning session is to make the players understand the need to have proper rest and early bed times.

"If they have late nights, it will be difficult to train early the following day and they cannot sustain their momentum in training. Players need to learn to sacrifice."

Kim Her's assistants Cheh Chang and Rosman Razak are also required to be present during weight and physical training to monitor players, not just leaving it to the National Sports Institute (NSI) physical conditioning experts.

The new training regime will begin next week once the players return from the ongoing Indonesia Open in East Kalimantan.

KKK/TBH can't join the morning session because they sleep late? Why do they sleep late?
Their stamina is suspect and they are exempted.

To me, where discipline is concerned, the no-no is too have two sets of rules.

 

That set of rules will certainly make koo/tan even worst! .. Well, let's see how it goes by with Kim Her's plan

NATIONAL shuttler Chan Peng Soon has apologised for walking out during his men’s doubles match at the National Circuit Grand Prix Finals.
Mixed doubles specialist Peng Soon, who partnered Ong Jian Guo in the men’s doubles event, conceded a walkover to Cheah Like Hou-Chow Pak Chuu, citing the numerous bad calls by the linesman as a reason.
Like Hou-Pak Chuu were leading 21-15, 21-23, 20-15 when Peng Soon decided to retire.
The walkover means that Peng Soon cannot play in his remaining matches against Soo Kar Seong-Tay Kok Hau and Mohd Fairu*zizuan Mohd Tazari-Ong Soon Hock.
“I was affected by the linesman’s bad decisions and lost my focus,” said Peng Soon. “At that time I did not know that if I walked out I will have to forfeit my remaining matches. I’m sorry for what I have done and I will not repeat the same mistake.”
