They should be in Pelatnas for the training in preparation of the Thomas Cup Qualifying.

He's Hariyanto Arbi, the founder of Flypower and one of the best badminton player we had too in the past.

He won the All-England twice in 1993 and 1994, the World Championships in 1995, the Asian Games Team & Individual Events Gold in 1994, and the Thomas Cup in 1994, 1996, and 1998.

Only the Olympics Gold Medal eluded him....

That's one of the condition that PBSI have for Kido/Hendra (and any other players in the National Team) before they were approved to leave.

Indonesia’s Top Men's Badminton Duo Blazes New Trail as Professional Pair

Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan open a new chapter in their careers this year as Indonesia’s best men’s doubles pair begins playing as professionals.

The duo, ranked third in the world, officially secured its release from the national team last week. The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) issue a letter of release, breaking ties with the pair which had been in the national team since 2001.

Markis and Hendra’s first act as professionals was to secure a sponsor to fund their ability to play in international tournaments. Both were sponsored by apparel company Yonex during their time with the national team, but that deal ended once they left the camp.

They announced on Monday they secured a three-year deal with Flypower, a local sporting goods company which is owned by Indonesian badminton legend Hariyanto Arbi. None of the parties were willing to reveal contract details, but the deal is reportedly worth Rp 1.5 billion ($160,000) per year.

“They offered us good money, I can only tell you that. Anyway, we have to start loving our national products, don’t we?” Markis said on Monday. “[Flypower] had been approaching us since we announced that we had quit the national team early this year.”

Hendra and Kido are now under Flypower-Arbi (not Flypower)

    Hendra will use Flypower-Arbi Warrior-7
    Kido will use Flypower-Arbi Tornado-800

(please do not forget to put "Arbi" word after Flypower, eventhough they may from similar source in Taiwan, but the Flypower-Arbi has a different logo at the cone)

yup for the next 3 years, starting from this month.
but special for Team event (e.g Thomas Cup), they may still use Yonex.

you can see Kido & Hendra pics at www.flypower-arbi.com

or at the Facebook as well as the Official Sign Contract
