    LCW is listening/following Misbun's and BAM's help/advice separately

    .
Agree. But it looks like LCW is listening/following Misbun's and BAM's help/advice separately.

LOL May be they can use the wireless walkie talkie just like how the American Football coaches communicate with their internal staffs... So, Coach Misbun will convey his tactics to TeySB during a match... haha... will it work?

Misbun’s silence over BAM offer leaves NSC guessing

KUALA LUMPUR: The deafening silence of Misbun Sidek on an offer to reconsider his decision to quit as a singles coach has not gone down too well with National Sports Council (NSC) director general Datuk Zolkples Embong.

And he hoped that there will be an end to his pending status so that the NSC can look again into assisting Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) and Lee Chong Wei in the preparation for the 2012 London Olympics.

The BAM had asked Misbun to reconsider his decision to quit but he had yet to respond to it.

In his absence, Chong Wei has been training under Tey Seu Bock and monitored by singles chief coach Rashid Sidek.

Zolkples said that a decision by Misbun would determine whether the NSC would have to fork out money to support hiring another coach.

After all, the NSC had been paying part of Misbun’s monthly income before he quit in a huff on Dec 31.

“Hopefully, there will be an end to this issue soon,” said Zolkples after announcing the nominees for the national sports awards yesterday.

Zolkples said that he would be meeting Chong Wei after the All-England, which ends in Birmingham on Sunday, to find out what the player wanted as far as coaching assistance was concerned.

“I am happy that Chong Wei remains focused on training.

“He is training well under Seu Bock. If Misbun does not return, I will ask him whether he needs a new coach or whether he is happy with the current arrangements,
    ” he said.

Although the BAM hire the coaches, the NSC are also responsible in decision making because they pay a certain amount of the salaries.

Meanwhile, the BAM’s council meeting on April 1 will make a final decision on Misbun.

It is likely that if Misbun does not get in touch with the BAM management over the next few days, the council will accept his resignation without further consideration.

Let's see whether MS will now succumb to pressure from NSC and BAM.

Let's hope the deadline on April Fool's day is not a joke.

For misbun, there wouldn't be any pressure,

instead the pressure will be on lcw :D

But if he speaks up after birmingham

he will pass the pressure over to bam and NSC... :D

    Isn t silence an answer?

Remember guru Misbun is an energy conservation guy. You see what he says to LCW during match intervals. Hardly anything and LCW understands.

The decision is obviously No to BAM. Do they think Misbun s a wayang guy or Tarik Harga type? Or they expect him to write a report on his decision?

Many BCers and BAM just couldn't accept the fact that Misbun has given up on BAM

    .
:D:D:D Many BCers and BAM members just couldn't accept the fact that Misbun has given up on BAM.

Writing a report on his decision (why he quits) would be the funniest thing that BAM can request.
    :p:p:p

Not easy to retain title: Lee

    The Straits Times
    8 March 2011

Birmingham: All eyes will be on Malaysian world No. 1 shuttler Lee Cong Wei this week , waiting to see if the 28-year-old can successfully defend his All-England men's singles title without his mentor and former coach MIsbun Sidek by his side.

Badminton legend Misbun quit as national singles coach on Dec 31 because of his unhappiness over certain decisions made by the coaching and training committee. He has since been replaced by Teh Seu Bock.

Although Lee was badly affected by Misbun's resignation, it neither stopped him from winning the national championships for the ninth time nor from helping his club SGS Bandung win the Indonesian league last month.

And he is just as determined to ensure that it does not prevent him from retaining his All-England crown.

Lee told Malaysian newspaper The Star: "Yes, I was very worried and concerned initially. I still want Misbun to come back, but I also have a responsibility to my country. I have to keep going.

"Now, I have to switch my focus on bringing glory to Malaysia at the All-England. I won it last year but it won't be easy this time - just look at the draw."

Lee, who is the top seed, will face Japan's Sho Sasaki in the opeining round. The others in his half are Indonesians Sony Dwi Kuncoro and Simon Santoso; China's Bao Chunlai and Chen Long; Denmark's Peter Gade; and Japan's Kenichi Tago, who lost in the final to Lee last year.

Although Indonesia's Taufik Hidayat is the highest seed in the lower half, it is third seed Lin Dan of China, Lee's arch-nemesis, who is entering world badminton's oldest and arguably most prestigious competition in top form.

The three-time world champion warmed up for the US$350,000 (S$444,000) championships - a tournament he has won four times - by capturing the German Open on Sunday, reported the Badminton World Federation (BWF) website. Lin has beaten Lee in 10 finals, the most recent being the Korea Open in January, and lost only four.

(Where is MS when he is most needed by LCW?) :crying:

Obviously it would be good if he would have MS on his side for the AE, but if he's being honest here then I really have to say that I admire his attitude. He puts the problems aside and fights for his country. Hats off.

The fact that the NSC Director said he will ask LCW's opinion is giving a lot of face already. Others, no such thing leh.
