She looks like she was playing what was to have been the correct shot, after it was too late [IMG].

First time I've seen Misaki a little less than colourful [IMG].

Ha ha, just couldn't help it.
    There is more [IMG].
But I shall refrain from continuing for the moment, in view of the recent happenings, as it is probably inappropriate. On this more serious note, I hope that Misaki and her badminton friends have not been personally affected by the tragedy.

A match between Matsutomo/Takahashi and Shiota/Ogura when Matsutomo/Takahashi were still high school students. :D

    The Shiota/Ogura-vs-Matsutomo/Takahashi match

    .
Thanks for the video suetyan. :):):)

There's a difference in their experience; but Matsutomo/Takahashi did OK, IMHO.

Japanese high school students, Matsutomo/Takahashi, playing against World Top WD pair

    .
It's the top JPN WD pair testing their high school students, Matsutomo/Takahashi.

IMHO, Matsutomo/Takahashi played well against them.

Well, what really matters most now is their battle with the other big 3 WDs for a place in London 2012 [IMG].

Wondering which of the Doubles (Womens or Mixed) Misaki Matsutomo will specialise in

    .
Misaki will have a chance to represent JPN if she continues to improve. I am still wondering which of the Doubles (Womens or Mixed) she would be concentrating to specialise in.

It's probably a really good time now for some Japanese in Tokyo to have a vacation overseas, to relieve the strain on the thinning resources in the country. The Fukushima accident has diminished the capacity for sufficient electricity to be generated. Rice fields in Fukushima and Miyagi have been rendered temporary unusable by salt after being inundated by seawater. Korean mineral water bottlers are working overtime, unable to meet the extra demands due to a shortage in Japan. And the Sanriku coast, which provides 20% of the fish in the famous Tsukiji market has dropped to zero in supply, after 12,000 of the 14,000 registered fishing vessels were destroyed.

The acute shortages will likely last for a only short while [IMG]. New sources of fish will probably be sourced from abroad. And abundant rainfall should dilute the soil of salt, and make the growing of rice possible again.
Excerpts of an article below describes the agricultural situation in Indonesia after the 2004 earthquake:

The 2004 tsunami ravaged rice fields in Indonesia's Aceh province, and scientists made dire predictions of years without a crop. But many recovered quickly.
"Thank God, we were able to harvest rice just one year after the tsunami decimated my rice fields," said Sulaiman Abdullah, 55, who farms a third of an acre (1,300 square meters) in the village of Beuradeuen.
"And the quality is even better than it was before, maybe because the mud, garbage and sea water brought in by the wave made the land more fertile," he added. "The same tsunami that first destroyed our lives was in the end a blessing of sorts."

For a while, Misaki/Ayaka looked like they had a strong chance for London 2012 after a series of good performances. But Mizuki/Reika and Mami/Shizuka probably panicked and they then played very well too [IMG]. It's going to a big fight for a place.
Well, there's always the XD to fall back on [IMG].
