When I first saw Yonex's poster for the 2012 olympic limited edition Voltrics, I didn't think they looked too good. Now however, they look awesome. Enjoy these :) T2bcaGXjRaXXXXXXXX_!!10298363.jpg T2kcqGXdpaXXXXXXXX_!!10298363.jpg T2rH5GXmFaXXXXXXXX_!!10298363.jpg T2ScqGXcpaXXXXXXXX_!!10298363.jpg T2tcWGXXVXXXXXXXXX_!!10298363.jpg T2wZeGXhVaXXXXXXXX_!!10298363.jpg T2zY1GXn4aXXXXXXXX_!!10298363.jpg

    Sweet!!!

The posters probably had a colour issue as it doesn't capture the richness of the purple and gold. I can't wait to get a LTD for myself. I already have a 3U in the original green. Wondering if I should get a 4U LTD for when I'm tired or for doubles play.

    @WingsAir - Did you get a 3U or 4U?

Finally! I just finished writing my review of VT Z Force and it's live on my blog. Whilst I am still a long way off recovering from my injury, I was still able to test this amazing racquet.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts ....

Renders a bit too sexy for my liking. 2012 printed should make it more valuable in the future. It is better looking when held than seen on the pictures but then I just thought it is too sexy.

Whoa yeah, the LTD looks so much better in pictures than on the promo posters!

The limited looks better than the photos.

That said, I'm surprised Yonex thought that more softer feminine colours would ever be a massive hit with most male players. The racquet does look good but I think Victors London racquet colourscheme is better - I'm afraid.

It wasn't that hard to imagine it looking like this in reality ;).

The gold is still too bland and it looks way too feminine. There isn't even a special bag  ...
(don't forget some complementing lilac socks to top it off :p)

I imagine it would actually look pretty good if purple was the main colour, replacing all the white, and having black and gold as accentuation (seems to be an actual word :D)

flip the purple and the white, and you have yourself a winner :)

I really agree... where did the purple idea come from? If they went with kinda a minimalistic approach, and used all 5 colors sparingly... they really could of come up with a winner... but then they chose purple.... We thought Yonex had bad taste when the VT-ZF came out, and we were wrong. But I think there is no doubt that this one is not the most impressive racket that they've come up with.

Pretty much bang on the money review! At the end of the day, it's a racket that gains power while sacrificing some defence and technical shots depending on what racket you started with! I don't think many Arc10 users will give this one any love :)

After seeing n holding the actual racket, is very much like the VT 7 and 9 paint tone.Vibrant n striking color combo tat really stand out but not to my liking. Still prefer the matte finish tho and I think LTD ver may hav the sticker issue too. There's the same bulge on the sides n the top 12 o'clock header as well. The matte ver. header is paint on instead. Another part at risk for LTD ver.

Then you have yourself a VT80 :D;)? Purple is not a feminine colour per se, purpe & gold are royal colours. Its' the abundance of white with only a smidge of purple and gold that makes it look feminine. Too pastel like gold, white ... all too soft. Could have released this as the for her version from the introduction.
Dark purple (Royal Purple and darker) is far better looking :p

^^ that sticker damage was completely due to pressure and rubbing from the unfortunate positioning of a side support... just tell the stringer to be careful to avoid mounting the side support onto the sticker and you'll be fine.

Cheap racket with stickers instead of paintjob :-D

Probably cheaper for yy to change to a new limited edition every second Week, by using stickers :)

But rather sad that they cannot put more effort into their top of the line products...
