Just find his profile in indopos Name : Agripina Prima Rahmanto Putra B.O.D : January 20, 1991 height : 169 cm weight : 63 kg Father : Sigit Pamungkas Mother : Tieke Budiharti Looking his age and height, I agree many other players more potential than him. A lot of players who born in 93 or 94 who competed in U-19 have better record and physical. Just surprise me that not only his father who ex national player but also his mother Tieke Budiharti is ex national player too (if not just similar name).
Hi all, In the first round of Indonesia Open 2009, I saw another coach, a Tiny Chinese-look Woman, beside R. Mainaky for Indonesia XD Team. any Explanation? Who is she?
I believe she's Yanty Kusmiati and has been the assistant coach for Ko Aryono and Richard since 2007.
Maria Febe reach QF in IO 2009.. Like Maria Kristin in 2007... maybe she will be 3rd INA WS in Uber Cup 2010 ??
Yanti Kusmiati? Who is she? Yes, she always sit beside R. Mainaiky? Any record about her experience and why pelatnas choose her? Was her a player? In Top skor today, Maria Febe said that she had already denied twice pelatnas call! I Think she is quite good!
Yanti Kusmiati is part of INA badminton's iconic legend... the mini in our famous Maxi-mini WD of the late 1980s... Maxi-mini is Verawaty Fajrin (our strong 180+ cm 'Maxi') and Yanti Kusmiati (our quick-moving fast-reacting 150- cm 'Mini')... I saw them win the 1988 INA Open WD title... They were so cute and unique... We loved cheering for them... Febe still has to prove herself more than before! Play well against Wang Lin tmrw...
Indonesia has another mini WD player too right now! Annisa Wahyuni! I saw her yesterday in Istora! Although she lost, she has good defense because of her mini size body... hahaha! I hope she will be our new star!
Yes. I've been watching INA Open since 1984... It was a different time then. INA was absolutely crazy about badminton. There was only 1 TV channel: TVRI and the best show on TV was 'live badminton'... During the late 1990s and early 2000s the badminton popularity slowly declined... the fact that there were increasing number of TV stations competing for people's attention also contributed to people's lack of awareness... But lately it has gotten better... I think the 2008 Thomas and Uber Cup in INA woke people up... Badminton is steadily finding more and more fans... One thing I notice: in the 1980s I didn't see any INA fans going goo-goo-ga-ga over good-looking foreign players. Today... I think Bao Chunlai and now Lee Yong Dae has developed their own cult-like fans... And in a smaller number, I see a Fu Haifeng fan-base growing... Unimaginable 25 years ago... Special 2009 INA Open SS note: the maestro-match between Taufik Hidayat vs. Peter Gade was absolutely fantastic!!! One of the best matches I've ever seen in 25 years at the INA Open... the 22-20 finish in game 3 was just an unbelieveable beautiful climax...
The last match point when TH was leading 21-20 lasted at least 1 minute [it felt like 3 minutes if you were there] with the 2 maestros trading 40+ shots between them... That has to be one of the most dramatic finish ever in INA Open history...
yeah...it's kinda hobby for indonesian players not to fulfill countrymen expectation when they are needed... hope they could win some in hyderabad.. ah, still thought that they should've been as bold as malaysian players here in IO 09 (bagged 2 titles while chinese only took 1...wow!)
