Did you buy this from e78? I requested a 3U5 and instead got a 3U6 as well- no biggie though. My L9 felt head heavy, but still less so than my two 3U4 TC700s. The shaft's diameter looked about the same, if not thicker, than the TC700's, which could be a perceptive illusion created by the TC700's dark grey. But after I took some dry swings with it, I realized just how fast this racket was. For me, the racket was definitely not as powerful as the TC700, but felt extremely solid- maybe more so than the TC700- was extremely quick in transitioning, and just felt easier to handle overall. It seems to be a different experience than the one Twobeer had with his L9, and I surmise that the difference in specs may have contributed to that disparity.
I agree with you, the L9 is definitely faster than the TC700. It doesn't have outright power like the TC700 but the feel is nice, it has that solid feel. The TC700 feels solid but it feels more inert than the L9.
To: Easy Tiger I requested for BG66 Maxima and I think instead he strung a BG66 for me. How is the print wording like of the BG66 Maxima? 93g each strung without grip for both L9 and TC400. Grip will probably add extra 2-3g. TC700's weight fully strung with thin grip is 95g. To: YueFei, teoky Yes, what I have been told also that in terms of power that the L9 is a step down from the TC700. In turn the L7 is even a step down further from the L9 but clears are superb and is a more user-friendly racquet than the L9.
I ask about it coz I see that L3 in front of me... Hahah But I'm curious coz I only know that only L7 and L9 in the market right now So.... Is it fake or the new one?
Hmm, very interesting indeed. It's quite hard to tell from these photos if the racket possesses the characteristic qualities of the Luminasonic line, but I'm inclined to think that if it's a genuine Mizuno product, there would have been information about it on either Mizuno's Japanese website or shuttle-house.com, prior to release. So, you either have a fake, or you've some how managed to get a hold of a prototype, which I guess doesn't answer your question at all~ =P I'm curious though, how did you get the racket? And if you have the either the L9 or L7, can you post pictures of them next to each other for comparison? BTW, I certainly won't mind this being a genuine racket, because the color scheme is, IMHO, better than either the L9 or L7. =)
I got it from the distributor of mizuno in indonesia (MAP) They said that it was sample racket From them I only got TC700, L9, L3... Unfortunatelly TC400 and L7 was sold to another people
I think it should be legit. Saw the model mentioned in a .pdf file on the japan badminton website along with Luminasonic 5 ... Make some better pics . Not the ones from bulutangkis forum ... or are you selling it on bulutangkis?
So it must be genuine mizuno I just bought it as sample racket so there are no register number on the cone Is there L5 too? I must ask the seller the L5 one
To all Mizuno lovers, can someone tell where does Mizuno GP10 come into the league when compare to TC700 and L9 in terms of performance?
Hey twobeer! I am very much influence by you on Mizuno rackets. I have just ordered 2 TC700 from e78!! Can I check with you on the string tension TC700? The website says only can up to 20-25 lbs? Can't go higher?
