^^Not a good sight..^^ ..pretty nasty stuff this past weekend in SoCal. Anyway, I was driving from my home, on Saturday morning, and passed by one of the freeways. And as i was looking back on my rear view mirror, i saw a medium-sized plume of smoke coming out of one of the hills. Unbeknownst to me, the fire had already started early in the morning (the one in Yorba Linda, which is a pretty nice suburb area), as i tried to find out what's going on. Then as i drove back home at night, about some 20 miles away, i could see the entire sky filled with smoke and just over one of the hills, a reddish glow lighted up the sky..
all the effort to be green, to cut CO2 and smog emission ...went up in smoke I'm sure Al Gore's residence is safe tho
the bees and flies were buzzing outside my house today but what's that in the last pic? it's got the legs of a fly, body stripes and colours of a bee, and the eyes of a drug addict
Thanks, but not mine. Camera is Nikon D300 and belongs to my cousin. Preparing to get the more affordable D90 which should suit my needs.
^^If those pics..^^ ..are from the current phenomenon of Venus and Jupiter shining, then yes, i saw it earlier today. However, it was upside down, as the 2 planets were either below or on the side of the moon.
depending on the time and latitude, yes, most americans would saw the unhappy face version sad to say
Hey! What do u mean "looks quite in focus"??? Here is the info: 1/125 sec F/2.8 400mm with monopod of coz!
u've got it right! a part of it i mean! that's "victoria park" in fact and someone was playing with his rc boat!
Wow, amazing photos. Makes me wish I had a DSLR.. but I don't really have the expertise or the time to justify the expense. My camera isn't bad anyway, just a bit low res- Olympus C760. 10x Optical Zoom
Compared to the 'boat', the water drops are unnaturally large If it were in a movie, that would be dead giveaway for miniature work. (The antenna is, of course, another -obvious- thing.) The RC boat looks good though. What's better is the quality of the pictures. Awesome!
