ohhh, sad to hear about it. I too have some ache all over my body because i been playing 5 times the last 4 days

Anway i can see why your elbow pain. You have very good fighting spirit but you should also have to care for your injury. Don't be too eager to smash if you are not in position. Smashing when the shuttle is abit out of reach will cause injury. I have it too and most players have it and should learn to control the urge to smash when out of position.

btw we all appreciate your good playing spirit :)

Dave, thanks for the physio advise. I'll give a try. Doc says no need to jab...take anti bio...and rest, rest, rest..:( OMG, do you think the doc is in his sane mind telling me to take up swimming instead of badminton?

Yes, the doctor's advice is very good. Swimming will help, its because it help strenghten your arms and therefore reduce your injury when you play.
I have pain in my arms and shouder and i went swimming every week 2 to 3 times and i have less pain after playing badminton. Its because my arms are stronger.
Beside swimming you should do phisio for your injury. I never advice players to stop playing, but listen carefully, Play BUT BE VERY GENTLE WITH YOUR STROKES> NEVER FORCE OR JERK YOUR ARMS>
Which means that you have to play with LADIES more :p:p:p

titaniumsp77, So are you joining us for this Sunday midnight zombiessssminton?

The sad thing is that I was adviced to stop badminton all together.:crying: Not Like what you said of swimming for badminton improvement. Any doctor's advice is good but that was just one I do not wish to accept.:(

Hehehe! Not all ladies are push overs, they deserve our due respect...;) And aiyaiyai! Wish you had never reference OBF with LCW. OBF wouldn't dare take it as a compliment while on the other hand it's definitely an insult to the LCW you are referring to.

It gives me great delight to see fellow "badlovers" enjoying the game and great joy when there's laughter all around. That's why I'll play with almost anyone; weaker player, novice, even first timer with the racket unless, no one wants to play with me...So, TQ for appreciating my company.:)

You should play but just play with stroke and reduce your smash by 90%
I notice that you would always smash whenever you have the chance to force a weak reply even when you are not in position. Do not do that untill you have recover.

As for reffering to LCW, ofcoruse la, its just only a joke :D
For your info LCW have not beat me yet,,,, :D:D
Why? because he is 15 class above me, i will never have a chance to play with him :crying::crying:
