Hey I have been interested in the Yonex Bag1112R but haven't been able to find a site that sells it for a reasonable price and that ships to Canada. I found 1 but the price is like $200 Canadian for the bag with shipping.

If any one knows of another site please let me know on the thread or PM me

Unfortunately, if you want it, you have to pay up for it. I buy from shuttle-house and feel its the best deal around. Unless you plan to travel to Asia.

I got it shipped to S'pore from Japan. It cost me close to 60 SGD just for the delivery. The website has a table \shoeing cost of delivery based on weight and location. BTW the 1112R will weight 1.7Kg with packaging.

    http://shuttle-house.com/page_top_ENGLISH/Guide/Postage_info.html

postage to Canada is 3600 JPY, and the price of the bag with discount on the website is 7140JPY.

So your damage should be close to 140CAD :D which is better than 200CAD

Yea that's true but still is it really worth $140 for a bag? It looks nice and the quality looks really good but the real question is, is it worth it?

That really is up to you to decide. Its like asking a women whether it is worth buying a 10k GUCCI bag. I would still buy it owing to my love for the sport and The brand. Anyway if you are willing to wait till Mar, another bag with a new design is going to be released. Ypu could have a look it it as wel. Its the 1222R.

    http://www.sunfast.jp/SHOP/Y-BAG1112R.html

There is additional administration costs of 500 Yen.
The estimated weight of the package is 1.8 Kg.
The delivery from Jpn to Ina is in the amount of 3,000 Yen

Total costs would be 9,750 Yen ++

Nevertheless, the worthiness of a bag (and its pricing) would always be very subjective in its nature.
Each person reserves his/her personal rights to valuate the goods consumed by him/her, and I dont think it would be wise to compare this kind of valuation.

    Imho :D
