Was the Triple threat AV XP light head heavy like a sledgehammer and powerful for smash? And was it pretty durable? I've heard a lot of triple threat series break from smashing too hard. I was thinking of getting one but I got the Diva on amazon for only 60$ with the sports bag, cause I was afraid AV XP may break sooner although its specs was much more than perfect for me =O~ but I gotta question its durability. Also does anyone know the string tension for Oversized TT Diva?
Prince Oversize series racquets are not durable(easily broken when smash hard), but very easy to use.
What about the Prince AV XP? I only know this website that sells it for 130$ http://www.badmintonbay.com/product_info.php?products_id=192 without tax and shipping. However I think 130$ is a bit too much. I would buy it at 90-100$ which I think its how much it should be considering that Speedport and O series are around >130$ itself, but do you know if it breaks easily too?
hmmm.... as the time goes, the more i use this racket, the racket getting more flexible...... it start to lose the solid feel, and its not that easy to control this racket....
I never use other Prince racquets except Oversize series. If the price is around $130, why don't buy Victor racquets? I think Victor is more durable, although the racquets are not shiny as Prince.
i got one, oversize premier red..bought from someone for rm160, strung with bg68 titanium at 24lbs... condition very mint, just like new....vry cheap i think with the new condition, coz market price is about rm320..just play once, and i like it..i can say it is comparable with at600, lightweight with slight head heavy..but i think i need to restrung with bg66 at 25lbs..
may i know if there prince website to see these racket configuration chart? i need to know the diff between the red, blue and sliver series? which racket is the highest end of all series...
bro, i dont see as above mentioned racket in www.princebadminton.com/ u ve been option? i also dont see any racket chart?
just bought oversive black for RM250..its so good.tension at 27lbs...smash power and control..really recommend..i have stop using yonex after try this racket.
The Prince Oversize TT is a really damn light racket. Built to defend in doubles. Netting and dropshots/slices are easy to execute, and lands the shuttle with uncanny accuracy. Smashing with even all your force will not bring the shuttle any faster, there seems to be a max speed the shuttle will travel when it leaves the racket after a smash, probally due to the super flexibility of the racket. A great beginer~ametuer racket, you'll learn all the basic strokes easily and quickly as you play along with it, as the racket is not heavy. Have used it for a year previously, it wont give the "WOW" factor of a racket after you passed ametuer stage. In Conclusion, this racket is built for net play, dropshots, cuts, and all the other soft touches. An excellent beginer~ametuer racket, however it will not be as much as useful/powerful as you improve. Cheers.
hi prince fans, i have a question about the shaft stiffness of the prince racket----what is means by "flex=high"? is it means stiff? and any prince racket are stiff and head heavy with good handling? tq
As for the Prince racket, TT Oversized, the Flex = High would mean that it is extremely flexible. Prince TT AV XP might be the one u are looking for. Slightly head heavy and with a stiff shaft. Back in its prime when i used it, it was a powerhouse. Might consider selling it away though.
