Agreed. Which other organizer, knowing that the court is booked until 1 pm, and sees a game starting at 12:55 pm, goes and asks the court management for a 15 minute extension?
If there's an award in BC for best organizer/captain. Lim should deserve one. He's very friendly and considerate.
but when Lim step in the court, hold the racket, he will turn to "monster".. non stop "bulleting" opponent.. LOL!. This remind me one of the character in Prince of Tennis, Kawamura Takashi About Kawamura Takashi :- Kawamura Takashi (河村 隆, Kawamura Takashi?) is a soft-spoken person off the court, very gentle and shy. However, he becomes extremely aggressive and loud once he has a tennis racket in his hands. He often shouts "Burning!", "Great!", "Come on, baby!", "Shocking!", "Victory!" and "Delicious!" while playing. During his first year, he has a lot of power, though he doesn't have any other skills. He is made fun of by his peers, though his close friends stay by him and help him develop. During his third year, he becomes a regular and eventually makes the goal of becoming the number one power player in Japan, which he accomplishes by beating Gin Ishida. He plans to quit playing tennis after the tournament and focus on working as a sushi chef under his father with the goal of being number one in the future. He is voiced by Naru Kawamoto in Japanese media, voiced by Richard Cansino in English media, and portrayed by Yoshikazu Kotani in the The Prince of Tennis live-action film. Kawamura mainly relies on the Hadoukyuu (ハドウキュウ?), a very powerful maneuver that uses 120% of an arm's strength, though it puts a lot of strain on it. He copies it from Tetsu Ishida, who is taught it by Gin. Kawamura lowers the risk of the shot by using a Two-Handed Hadoukyuu?), though it decreases the power and range of the shot. He can use either while jumping to make the Jump Hadoukyuu (ジャンプ ハドウキュウ?), which is hard to return. He later develops the Dash Hadoukyuu?), which is the regular technique performed during an extremely fast dash. It strengthens the shot by focusing all the momentum on the wrist, though it can break the wrist if it is overused. During his final match against Gin, he puts all of his feelings into a "Final Hadoukyuu" that is stronger than Gin's strongest technique and breaks Gin's wrist. He also reappears as a candidate in the U-17 tournament, where he plays his last match as a Jr. High student against Akutsu Jin. (両手ハドウキュウ (ダッシュ ハドウキュウ I think this character 90% reflect Lim !! LOL
Wah! So "kua cheong" meh ... Since Sunday is normally "Family Day" & morning time is very hot, I have less competition for courts & also less people coming to play (last minute or not). Haha! So, I cannot compare my "budget hotel" to other BC Senpais' "multi-star hotels" (Helen, DaveC, Badhen, Justin, Jerry, JK1980, Calvin Ong, brill, deVince, Mstar & etc). No star yet. Compared to (Helen, Justin & JK)'s session which can easily attract 20+ players most of the time, my session is easy to manage. Oh yeah! drinks ... u want Tiger or Carlsberg when u come to visit?
Err ... the credit for this belongs to (drum roll, please) Cuepacs Challenger management because I think they normally switch on/off the lights 5-10 minutes earlier/later before/after the booking. Not sure this is the regular practice or not but no harm in going to ask them. I think no one was using our courts after us. Wah! bro, u & Desmond are putting me in such a high place that I cannot climb down myself & I'm afraid of high places ... legs shaking already. :crying::crying:Waaaaa! Please rescue me lah!
The pleasure of meeting u is all mine. Enjoyed watching u (JK, Mstar, yeohray, deVince & ST) play, all of u don't rely on power (unlike me, haha!) to win games. Very cool indeed!
But ... but I just want a large McD Happy Meal or a KFC 3 piece combo set worr ... nice of u to join in the fun. When u visit us in the future, do tell us about your BC travels, ok!
Eric & Frosty are good opponents, my thinking was all-out kamikaze attack first to get a big lead then crawl to the finish line. My stamina cannot do come from behind wan ... LOL Never watch Prince of Tennis before but I'm a fan of Son Goku, Hanamichi Sakuragi, Uzumaki Naruto & Ichigo Kurosaki. LOL Come on, Baby!
