isn't that up to your preference? if you prefer it to be thicker, you can apply something on the wood first to make it thicker?
i prefer to add a layer of electrical tape on the wood before applying the grip. this is to ease the process of removing the grip without leaving a lot of residue.
regarding the LCW style, wait for other people's answer. i have no idea neither do i really care :p

Ziggy your pic looks off topic...is it LCW style ? :D:D
The gripping style we are talking about here is for over grip only ;)
And the main tip is to put the over grip reverse ;)

erm..i used the same concept :D:p
i did add the extra piece of grip at the bottom
and i start gripping using the broad end, not the "sharpie" end
    i followed Demolidor's video
but because i'm using a replacement grip, the bulge at the bottom didn't seemed to be that big
    it does feel good though

Nice! That's one of the best replication of Taufik's towel grip style I've seen.

lol... thanks mate... its a bit loose due to heavy use (due to need a new grip)
Always had the 3/4 grip.. adding the bulge at the end just made it more comfortable.

no, its not from overgrip.. and as i said, i have always wrapped up 3/4... and towelling at the bottom is to stop the plastic end rubbing onto my hand

    It sure is :D

That is why I humbly said your towel gripping reminds me most of Taufik's. A lot of people these days are totally ignoring that Taufik was the one who started with this grip style.

i believe i read a post a long time ago regarding that LD and Taufik shared the same technique or reason for the 3/4 or in ld case, 1/2 grip, however i never found a pic of THs racket (not in that close up or quality of the picture you have posted anyway ;))
Thanks for the picture... the gripping style isnt something i made up afterall lol.. but is infact someones elses lol..

May be I miss this part. But I still dont understand how to make the bulge like that.

    How do you do that?

Do you start gripping from the top (cone)?

    Thank you..
