I recently discovered a drink called Neuro Sonic which claims to improve mental functioning.

    http://drinkneuro.com/products/sonic

I want to know if any of you have tried it and whether or not it actually works?

    Thanks

    Marketing Marketing Marketing!!!
Most of these things are just a bunch of random vitamins and sugar. Then they throw caffeine in to make you feel energetic. And they call that a brain boost.
What's wrong with your brain as it is?

    Have you tried it?

I wanted to use it was a way of waking myself up for my early badminton matches. Otherwise I'm half asleep.

I'm going to have to agree with Fidget here. If you look at the ingredients, they're not different from energy drinks like Rockstar, Red Bull, and Monster. Don't be fooled by fancy names like "Neuro", it's all marketing.

Caffeine and Taurine are both common ingredients in energy drinks and they do work indeed in stimulating your awareness and energy levels, but it's not specific to this drink. You could even drink coffee or tea every morning and have the same effect (just be sure to stay hydrated).

That being said, if it's cheaper and better tasting than the other energy drinks, I don't see a problem with this drink if you want to use it to wake up early, just be aware that with any caffeine drink your body will become physiologically dependent (slightly) once you get into a routine of drinking it.

What was it like when you tried it? Did it improve your alertness. Or did it just give you a small boost and then leave you all jittery?

Same Here, tried it before, but there ins't really any different from most of the energy drinks, it does improve alertness and concentration, but only for a short time, then after that it give you a break down moment.

    Not Recommanded for badminton XD

You need to first figure out how much of the drink is a good level for you.
Too "hyper" is also not good to be. But I see what you mean with not being awake enough.
Try the drink but don't drink the whole can just before the match or something.

But the very best think for being proper awake for a match is to adjust your sleeping pattern in time, so you can get a whole night's sleep the night before playing. Then you get the true powers. This is easier said than done I know, I fail myself mostly. ;)

IMO, it is not as heavy as many other energy drinks
they are not as strong as red bull or normal lucozade (the one with soda)

I remember what my teacher said
have you ever heard ANGEL energy drinks?

this drink is targeted for woman
however, let's say red bull can be used to fuel a tank
ANGLE drinks can be used to fuel an aircraft lol..
