Although that can also be a habit whenever you mistime a shot or miss one you would take for granted under normal circumstances. I, for example, do it very often (but I also complain about my strings or the racket's softness after about every 2nd mistake at times)
Hehe... Yes but I've been following him and Setiawan past few tournaments and he definitely has a wimpier smash (and subsequent looking at his racket ) over the past 2 months since winning the Malasian SS and subsequently switching from the NS9900 to the FB.
I will be picking up an arcsaber FB i a few days. I will compare it to my VT80 and nanospeed9900. all three should possess major differences. I feel that i perform much better with a 9900 than a VT80. I have high hopes for the FB.
I've had the FB (F/6U)for a few months, and felt the N9900 in shop (no strings) - the weight distribution is staggeringly different, the N9900 felt very heavy in comparison (though the FB is stupidly light). I do feel as though the weight distribution was the main difference not overall weight, the N9900 being more top heavy in my hands. I won't mention the VT80 difference as my arm nearly broke when I picked it up
lol, I haven't really test it yet. The Duoforce kept me busy for most of this week. I'm not expecting anything less with the 5U racket. Basically it's just a heavier version of the 6U racket. I'm going to need more time to come to a conclusion and it may be a long time because I'm somewhat conflicted between the 6U and the 5U version. Basically, I think I like both rackets. There are pros and cons to both the 6U and 5U versions of this racket. lol!
Oh I forgot to mention that the 5U racket is already in my room. lol, I didn't think I need to create a post and announce it to the world. I was surprised that they didn't give me a racket case. I just got a soft fabric bag with the racket. lol! One final thing and I had to chase the mailman to get my racket. I saw him pull up to my house. I walked down from the third floor of my house to the entrance. I didn't see him. I was like wtf. I walked out to the lawn and he's already down at the other block. I ran two blocks and screaming at him. He finally stopped at the third block to give me my package. lol!
FYI, all Yonex rackets sold in Japan (JP coded) come with a black soft FABRIC case, except the lower grade/cheaper ones, as well as a warranty card written in Japanese. You should get this warranty card an official stamp (hanko) of the store you purchase from in order to get your warranty card eligible for claiming. I still doubt it that Yonex will do such a "stupid" thing, fooling their current/future customer and the rest of the world by spraying a FB racket into a ZF. Is it legally eligible to sue them if they actually do so?
They can paint their sponsee's (word?) rackets however they want. Had they not, I doubt they would have found a player who would use a real FB. Remember the "Taufik Z-Slash" special edition that Taufik used to use? I was told that was a sprayed-up Arc 10...
It is common practice in badminton/tennis for players to use a racket that is just sprayed up with the latest marketed design. There isn't actually any law that you could sue them on.
And what would be the grounds? "I bought this because Pro X uses it"? You'd deserve to lose for that alone.
Well it's not actually false marketing I don't think. Yonex have never mentioned what specification he is using. Only that he has a racket that looks like a Arc FB. If you ever tried to take Yonex to court over this (and I strongly advise that you don't) Yonex would probably argue that they produce specialised specifications of their rackets for the players that are one offs. Nothing wrong with that. For all you know, Mogensen could love the paint scheme and the name of the racket so he demanded that. This arguments no more crazy than the idea of sueing Yonex
