You mean "Little House on the Prairie". A TV show based on a series of books which were the memoirs of a pioneer American girl in the 1800s. How in the world did that get to Selangor, Malaysia?:eek::)

Little house was shown @1975. Starred the late Michael Landon,Little Joe of Bonanza.

Also 3 actresses named Melissa this or that.

Everything that's popular in Us will tend to be circulated worldwide, next someone will be asking if they ever broadcast Star Trek in the 60s.

Sad to say, life in the 60s,70s and 80s in Msia was so different from what it is today.

Empat sekawan was already shown on Msia Tv in mid 60s when B/W TV started. At that time it even ran concurrently with movies like

Star Trek,Shindig,Bonanza, Combat, The Saint, Twilight Zone,Outer Limits, the Fugitive, Gunsmoke, Robin Hood, etc.etc.

You can say that again bro....;). In the early 80's, with rm5...from my house, i can use a bus to KK ( a town here ), go to any arcade game shops to do some "wrist training" by playing myself all the classic games i.e Raiden, Street Fighter, 1943 Midway 20 cent each for the whole day and still left me with rm 2 which the 1 ringgit i still can buy myself 5 "assorted kueh" and the remaining rm 1 to bring me back home:D

Now......even with rm 1 also hardly can buy more than 2 "kueh" and not to mention that how your rm 5 quickly vapourised once you bring your kids to any entertainment centre inside a shopping mall.....
