Yeah I've been asking about them too :/ You could always order one from e78 or just go to HK like kwun did. If you do decide to, let me know
I finally got to try this racket today, The racket I used belonged to a friend, so I can't tell what tension the strings were but I felt it was between 23-24lbs. When I felt the frame, it wasn't like any racket I have seen before, the frame was really aerodynamic where the Z-Slash was slightly boxy (The racket I was using for the day) I had a knock, half court. The racket felt really nice, the weight at the top of the head felt really good, easy to hit clears, drop shots and of course smashes, in defense the racket was able to repsonse very quickly due to the aerodynamic frame. After having a knock I played a singles game half-court, I felt that the racket was very sturdy, during the game I was playing a lot of clears to tire my opponent but I found myself losing points because my clears were going to far. I tried to adjust my clears but I still found myself hitting it long. Smashes seemed really fast and when I used my wrist for those steep smashes, I felt the shaft flex and the head hitting the shuttle really well. Personally I would love to buy this racket but in England, this racket is being sold at £153 and I find that too expensive. I hope this small review helps some of you.
Compared to the VT-80, I think power from both rackets are quite similar, as the N80 cuts through the air and the VT-80 has power from the stiffer string bed. I felt that both rackets are really similar and it is on personally peference if you want to buy the racket.
Hi, i'm new member in this forum.. i wanna ask the master of lining in here what is the difference between n80 and n90 II? which one is better? and then, what is the difference between n80 and n80 LTD? I wanna buy a new racket, but i'm confused I need master's help here Thanks
Li Ning Woods N-80 for Jan Jorgensen Anyone has demo this racket yet? i would love to hear about it. if the review fits what i might want in a racket i might get one from mybadmintonstore this sunday since i'll be in hong kong by then.
Page 2: "Li Ning Woods N80" Strangely enough he doesn't even play with it himself as apparently Boonsak Ponsana doesn't either with his supposed signature model ...
Pretty sure Boonsak when he played Japan open 2012 (most recent SS tournament?) against LCW in the final he used N36 (his signature racket). Might not have but it seems like that racket when you watch the footage. Jan used to use the N80 as well, think he's gone back to the trusty N90 now though?
yea i saw both of them on mybadmintonstore website and was curious. and since i've never even held them in my hand before, i just figure i'll go with the one with the color scheme i like more and asked about it. but thank you for pointing out that neither of them use their signature rackets now, not that it matters to me since i'm a low intermediate player anyway
I have both N80 and N36 myself... For the N80 I would say it's a pretty powerful racket that is relatively quick, not BS quick but not slow like a N90 or N90-II... Personally don't care if the star marketed after the racket doesn't use it myself, and as far as LN rackets go, the finish on the N80 and N36 are the nicest I've seen on LN's and even compared to other brands like Victor or Yonex...
what about your N36? how does it feel for singles? can you please give me a comparison between the N80 and N36.... Might buy one of them just cant decide
Would be more impressive to come up with one of him using N36 than using N90-II. SO far from All England up to Japan Open is all N90-II (including London and Singapore Li-Ning Open) You may not but if it were Yonex they would probably get slagged for it by the fanboys of the other brands ... something about using player feedback in their rackets and whatnot ... At least they aren't named directly after them; imagine LYD and JJS not using their respective signature models ... Agree they look really nice though
I think the N36 in terms of power is less than the N80, but it is much easier to use and the strain on the arm is much less... I would get sore from using N80 for three hours for example but wouldn't if it's the N36. In the end it comes down to whether you want a power racket or a all-rounder...
