Yep! But I just wanted to ask Alex82 which arc10 he owns, because red strings on red arc10 wouldn't be that awesome Well, I think white rackets like arc10pg will match to most color combination. yellow string -> yellow grip yellow string -> neon green grip (like mine actually) orange -> orange blue -> blue etc. Too many colors i want to try on different rackets Maybe this autumn: arc10pg with green / green or red / red and BS LYD yellow / yellow
i happen to have a red ARC10 with red ZM62 and red grip at home. i will post photos tonight and you can decide for yourself.
i wouldn't mind someone posting a picture of a ARC10PG with red string and red grip. i think that will look very nice. i do have a ARC10PG at home but it is brand new and i don't plan to string it at all.

on a red arc10. the red zymax with the red arc10 with the little bit of white on the racket head looks so beautiful. but everyone has a different taste so the arc10 pg is not beautiful for me... yes. but on higher tensions too. BG66UM with 32/33 lbs. but the zymax 62 with ~30 lbs feels more crisp than BG66UM with ~33lbs.
- I think I don't have to know why people can "store" rackets like this. Especially such a nice racket! ^^ Maybe my addiction to badminton will never ever reach a level like yours
guilty as charged! but i already have 2 regular ARC10s. (or is it 3?) so i don't need another one. but as you know the ARC10PG is so beautiful and i got a good deal for it so i bought one but so far see no need to string it up. maybe in 20 yrs when i am much older and my kids are all grown up, i will dig it out and share it with the younger generation here in BC. and everybody will go, "Ooooo....." and "Ahhh....."
are all ashaway strings the same? as in theyre all made in USA? so if i get strings from ashaway directly, itd be the same thing as getting them from squashmart right?
In general: ZM62: extra stiff ZM65: moderately stiff ZM67: medium stiff ZM70: medium stiff Of course string bed stiffness can altered depending on how tight or loose you string the racket too.
Is there someone who tested the new Zymax strings in different colors? My reels are running empty too, so I have to order some new ones soon. I love the new 62 and 65, but tested them only in red. I would like a reel in optic yellow, but perform those less than the red stings (as read earlier)? What do you think is the best string in terms of power(1), control(2) and durability(3)?
My all time string is the BG 66 and BG 66 UM but after trying the new 62 and 65, I feel that the new zymax had a better repulsion. Now Im only using the 62, 65 and BG 66 UM.
I bought Z62 in red and optic yellow and the Z65 in red and optic yellow. Honestly I could not tell the difference between the two. I had people play on them and some prefer the yellow over the red...well do to personal color difference. But so far i ran through about 3 Zymax reels this year so far and seems like eithe red or yellow on average...will last you about 2-3 weeks with the clients. For me either 62 or 65 (red and yellow) will last me about 6 weeks. I also bought the 70 in white and Red but have yet to try those out...
I strung a couple of rackets with the Zymax62 and tried them out yesterday. omg, omg omg! Amazing how effortless I can send everyone to the back court, which gives me way more time to concentrate on positioning myself, the shuttle, and playing my opponents into troubles. Thank You Ashaway !
The best Zymax strings of all gauges in order of playability are : 1. Platinum; 2. Optic Yellow; 3. Ivory; 4. Red. Colors do make a difference in all Zymax strings. The thinner the gauge the greater the difference. The red is by far the worst, a huge disappointment. How can anyone say it is superlative? The difference in playability is mainly due to the different color pigments and the dye used.
You are getting different string than some of us then. In general white plays the best. For a while red was playing the best because consistently it was the thinnest. Since then, Ashaway has made some changes and red is now thicker.
