All the 4 INA BS players are through to R32, where the real matches begin. I expect at least 2 to be eliminated.

    BS R32
    Rohit Yadav C.
[5/8] vs Fikri Ihsandi Hadmadi - the seeded IND player to progress.

Panji Akbar Sudrajat [9/16] vs Chang Tak Ching - I expect Panji to fulfill his seeding.

Pratul Joshi vs Thomi Azizan Mahbub [9/16] - this will be a tough match for Thomi and I also hope for him to fulfill his seeding.

Arief Gifar Ramadhan vs Kento Momota [2] - it will be a miracle if Gifar can beat the AJC champion.

    GS R32
    Sandra-Maria Jensen
[9/16] vs Rina Andriani - the DEN girl to progress.

Ruthvika Shivani G. vs Hanna Ramadhini [9/16] - hopefully, Hanna can fulfill her seeding.

    BD R64
Alex Lane/Sam Parsons vs Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho [5/8] - the real test for Kevin/Rafi will begin in QF.

    GD R64
Maretha Dea Giovani/Ni Ketut Mahadewi Istirani
vs Alida Chen/Kirsten Van Derk Valk - the INA pair to progress.

Olga Morozova/Natalia Rogova vs Melati Daeva Oktaviani/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari [5/8] - ditto for Melati/Rosyita.

    XD R64
    Alfian Eko Prasetya/Shella Devi Aulia
[9/16] vs Bowornwatanuwong Phuttaporn/Narissapat Lam - a tricky first test for Alfian/Shella and I hope they don't fumble.

Duncan Yao/Takeisha Wang vs Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Maretha Dea Giovani - the INA pair should breeze through the next round.

Nathan Osborne/Josephine Wu vs Putra Eka Rhoma/Ni Ketut Mahadewi istirani - ditto for Putra/Ni Ketut.

Koshun Miura/Akane Watanabe vs Edi Subaktiar/Melati Daeva Oktaviani [2] - also a tricky tie for the second-seed.

China looks quite strong, enough to get some medals... but i think, they will only get 1 gold, either GD or XD. Lee/Shin will be quite hard to beat in GD. and Choi/Chae will be the hot fave in XD. I dont think China can win both, only one of them or maybe none of them :D another chance is in GS. but dont know why, I still believe that Tai Tzu Ying will beat Sun Yu....

All the INA pairs breezed through R64. Now, serious stuffs will begin in R32.

    BD R32
    Hafiz Faisal/Putra Eka Rhoma
[1] vs Jeon Hyuk Jin/Seo Seung Jae - it's tough matches all the way to the Final for the top-seed, who also has the hardest draw among the 3 INA BD pairs. There's no easy match starting from the R32 clash against the Korean pair. Still. with the experience at senior tourneys given to Hafiz/Putra this year, I expect them to go far.

Rodion Kargaev/Alexandr Zinchenko vs Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho [5/8] - I also expect Kevin/Rafi to fulfill their seeding and possibly face Lee Chun Hei/Ng Ka Long [3/4] for a place in the SF.

Chang Ko Chi/Liao Chi Hung vs Edi Subaktiar/Arya Maulana Aldiartama [2] - it's always tricky against any young TPE BD pair, whose standard has really gone up a lot in the past 2-3 years. I hope the AJC champion is not affected by nerves or overconfidence in the individual event.

    GD R32
    Chochuwong Ponpawee/Alisa Sapniti
vs Maretha Dea Giovani/Ni Ketut Mahadewi Istirani - not sure about this...let's hope the INA pair proves me wrong.

Shella Devi Aulia/Anggia Shitta Awanda [3/4] vs Chisato Hoshi/Ayako Sakuramoto - a tricky test for the seeded INA pair. I am not sure if they can fulfill their seeding as a tough match against Narissapat Lam/Putita Supajirakul will await them in R16 even if they can beat the Japanese pair.

Chang Ching Hui/Chang Hsin Tien vs Melati Daeva Oktaviani/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari [5/8] - Melati/Rosiyta should progress.

    XD R32

Alfian Eko Prasetya/Shella Devi Aulia [9/16] vs Pei Tianyi/Huang Dongping - I don't think the INA pair can beat the CHN pair.

Wang Chi Lin/Chen Szu Yu vs Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Maretha Dea Giovani - not sure about this. I will not be surprised if the TPE pair wins the match.

Wu Hsiao Lin/Chen Ting Yi vs Putra Eka Rhoma/Ni Ketut Mahadewi Istirani [9/16] - ditto as above.

Muhd Asraf B. Ishak/Chong Fui Jin vs Edi Subaktiar/Melati Daeva Oktaviani [2] - Edi/Melati have the brightest prospect of all the XD pairs. They should progress to at least QF before meeting possibly the dangerous KOR pair Jung Jae Wook/Shin Seung Chan [5/8].

It's to be expected considering you are facing the reigning AJC champion Choi Sol Kyu/Chae Yoo Jung.

This Vietnamese pair is a dangerous one. They reached SF of AJC and beat one INA pair (Hafiz Faisal/Maretha Dea Giovani), one KOR pair (Ryu Soo Hwan/Lee Sun Min), and one MAS pair (Tan Wee Gleen/Chow Mei Kuan) en route to the SF.
