Ebay seller swares its not a fake, but im sure it is, what do u guys think? hes given me a 100% Genuine Money back guarantee but the serial is a bit fishy, if im correct, it states it was produced the 20/06/200(7) in Singhapore. can that be true i thought this was a new model??? ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex ArcSaber 10 shaft serial: 200675SP cone code : 6636261 source : Ebay price : $80 ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
this is a counterfeit and SP does not mean "Made in Singapore", it is just where the racket would have been distributed to. the price is just way too good to be true
Yeh i know the price is way to good to be true, but what about the serial number, he is adamant, and swares its genuine, when were the arcsaber 10's brought into production? could the serial be genuine or not? 80 dollars is the starting bid, which is quite high for a fake, and too low to be real, its got time to rise though.
Cone code is false. It should be DDMMY?DC Basically, that means that the first 2 digits mean the day it was made, the second two, the month, the 5th digit, the year (after 2000). Nobody knows what the 6th digit is. The two letters are a distribution code, what market the racket was intended for, not where it was made. The Arc10 is always made in Japan, along with the other high end Yonex rackets. You were sort of right about Singapore, SP means south Pacific so you see a lot of these rackets in Singapore and other countries in that region. You have the shaft and cone serials the wrong way round, the cone is the one with the distribution code (letters) in. It means your racket should have been made on the 20th of June, 2007 and as far as I know, the Arcsaber 10 was not in production at that time. I would say the racket is a fake.
heya, thanks for confirming my suspicion, just to note i did get the 2 serials the wrong way round, the cone serial is :200675SP. mmm would like someone just to confirm the date of production just to give him the benefit of the doubt. anyone got the answer???? i havent been able to find it myself.
Hi! Oh, this is a cool forum. I've lurked around these forums for a while but now I set this up so I can check my racquet. Leehsim, please take a look. No, it's not from ebay. I actually got it as a gift. Thanks. - Jessica ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Nanospeed 7000 shaft serial: 7012141 cone code : 100775CD source : gift price : N/A ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
isn't the so called production date on the cone? its a counterfeit so the day would not be accurate anyways

no anyone know when yonex first started producing arcsaber 10? the seller told me that yonex probably started making the racket in 2007 to make enough when they launched the racket in 2008? any thoughts???
I may be wrong but all the genuine Arc10s that have been posted were made in 2008. Also, even if they were made in 2007, it would have been at the end of the year in my opinion.
What kind of sports store is this? I'm asking because there are only a few places that you can buy SP coded racquets.
Re: Guy yeah they sport store told me that a guy came in with my racket that i just bought and he traded it in for 2 bk rackets o.0 witch i find strange, i have also thoght why the racket was ment to be sold in singapore( parndon my spelling) cuz of the code SP, but yeah that hows it goes, it traded in and i bought it off of the the store, so i suppose its a used racket that is perfectly new? PS hope its not a fake
