This place is so close to where I live in Toronto but it seems that some things must be changed though.

So, you played at Agincourt Tennis Club.
    I play tennis elsewhere.
Let give the new badminton club a try and feed back to DD.
    Cheers.

    received via email today

Agincourt Open Badminton Centre, after a period of delay, is finally ready to open its doors. AOBC offers 9 full sized badminton courts with a clearance of 25ft and rubber cushioned flooring. It is located in the Mid-Scarborough area and close to the intersection of Ellesmere and Birchmount.

You are invited to our new facility on opening date of February 20, Saturday. The door will be open at 9:00am. AOBC will be into its introductory promotion period, which will end in about a month or two. There are two ways to participate during this promotional period:

    1. Court Rental at $10 per hour per court + GST.
Pre-book your court at your desire hours and play with your friends and family members.

    2. Drop-in to play as a guest with people you know or not. The fee for drop-in is $5.00 per 3 hours. Following drop-in sessions are programmed:
    #1. 9:00am to 12:00pm
    #2. 3:00pm to 6:00pm

You may also play whole day for $10 guest fee.

During this introductory period, our business hours will be as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00pm to 11:00pm
    Friday: 5:00pm to 12:00am
    Saturday: 9:00am to 12:00am
    Sunday: 9:00am to 10:00pm

AOBC is committed to promoting recreational badminton for fitness and entertainment purpose. We are open to other badminton clubs if you want to rent our courts for your club activities; we are open to badminton coaches if you want to rent our courts to train your students; we are open to tournament organizers if you want to rent our courts for your tournament. We are also open to listening to your comments/suggestions before or after your play at our facility. So if you have any thoughts, let us know.

AOBC is open to badminton for all. We believe Badminton is the most under-rated sports in North America. We would like to work with all who involved in badminton to make it a more popular and more main stream sports.

We look forward to seeing you there in the coming days.

    AOBC team

from the pictures, trying to walk on and off the middle court could be very dangerous when games are being played.

Went there on Feb 21 with some friends. Very few people since it was newly opened. We could play as much as we wanted for the 3 hours ($5.00): singles or doubles. The courts are nicer than the picture portrayed with high ceiling and rubberised floor. Enough room for some chairs on one of the short end and a few benches on the long side. The court at the centre will have accessibility problem if all 9 courts are used. It was a little cold too, and if the heaters are turned on there might be draft on the left courts. However, we didn't feel the cold once we played even with the heater off, good thing-less sweat. Mind you, if there are more people, maybe the BTU's generated might turn up the temperature.
