Lol... Did you ever get an XP70 to try? I think you'll love it. It's still my favourite frame. Kinda hybrid of MX and BS. And that's why I'm interested in the JS series because I think Victor realizes they needed to beef up the BS frame a tad.

They don't need to beef up the BS, they just need something new. You can only milk a frame design for so long before people get bored. If they thought they needed to beef up the BS, they could just......beef up the BS.

Honestly, I think the BS series is probably as fast as a standard ISO frame is going to get. The only way to get a faster head is to make the stringbed size smaller. But if Victor can use a barrier layer disrupting coating to make a chunkier frame as quick as a BS but without the torque you get especially when you hit high in the stringbed, then that would be a good move.

Exactly. I totally agree, manufacturers HAVE to come up with something new and keep up with the competition. Even if there's no absolute method to measure, Marketing will put it in anyways. It's all about giving the perception that the end user can gain an edge with the new racket/design.

That's awesome. I can't wait until comparisons with the BS12 is made. I really wonder how much improvements Victor have made in this new series.

I'm in North America. $35 seems a bit excessive. I wonder if it'll be cheaper if I don't take the bag?

It's down to the postage costs, I've never found his charges to be excessive.

Email Eric directly would probably be better. You wouldn't get the extra eBay charges then

I think MBS only charges $10-$15 to ship from HK to North America. So $35 is quite a jump and it's not like there isn't a lot of trade that happens between Taiwan and North America.

Someone is going to ask this at some point in the future so I mind as well start off and ask.

    1. Which string color would best complement the look of the Jetspeed 8ST and 8PS?

    2. Who's planning to go with 3U and who's planning to go with 4U?

Well seeing the pros test them out in SS matches..I have to say I like the look of it in both yellow and white strings. And I'll go 3U for both too

Both actually..victor's blues complement their yellow 850 quite well. So does their burnt orange that was on the JJS and that color is similar to the 8PS
