They need to pay us for us to take this to the street man. We aint no walking talking Yonex billboard, especially when not many people on the street know what Yonex is to begin with. It's not like it's a BV or Gucci. I believe the 1111 and 951 are more tastefully done.
Hi all .... First off, a very sincere apology to one and all for my very delayed review and pictorial of this bag. It has been a very hectic few weeks at home and at work for me .... Now, hope you all enjoy my quick (and short) review of the BAG1201W. The bag you see here is the JP version of the 1201W. As with all JP bags .... the build quality, materials used, and construction of the 1201W are high quality and top-notch ! The overall feel of the bag is superb and space is more than adequate for one player's stuff. You can easily fit in 4 rackets, a pair of shoes, shuttles and gear. With regards to the TW version of this bag .... i have seen (and felt) the TW version, and i can tell you that the quality is much lower than that of the JP version. The materials used in the TW version are somewhat different and the overall construction quality and feel is also lower..... in my opinion. And as you will see in the pics below, there are also a few physical differences between the JP version and TW version. - The JP version has 2 front separate compartments whereas the TW has one big one. (see the zippers) - The JP version's 'rear face' of the bag is made of the same 'synthetic carbon-fiber-lookalike' black material as the front, whereas the TW's 'rear face' is just the blue nylon material. Well, a picture is worth more than a thousand words ..... so, enjoy the pics. Tag that comes with the bag, listing down dimensions. Packed in plastic by Shuttle-House Ta - daaaa ! ...... 'Front Side' of the 1201W (Racket compartment side) 'Rear Side' ...... (Main compartment side) Vertical Carrying Handle Base protectors Main compartment ..... Note: the 1201W comes with the Velcro centre divider, just like the 951W and 1111W. Note: the 1201W does not come with the small, black mesh pocket inside. But with 2 zipper pockets in the front, and one at the back ... it didn't seem necessary anyway. SP 951W and BAG1201W ...... Side - by - Side comparison " where did the 951W go? " " peek a boo ! " As you can see .... although both bags have almost similar dimensions, the 1201W is taller and looks bigger.
i tot 951w has wider width and longer length for space compare to 1201w whihc more in height. how come 1201w can put max 4 racket if its bigger? can u try to put a pair of baddy shoe and tell me how many rackets in max qty can be fit in plus 2 tube of shuttlecock?
Hi bro .... Officially, both bags have almost similar dimensions .... with a difference of only 2 cm in height between them. Physically, it's either one is longer than the other, or the other is wider than the other one, or one is taller than the other .... Just for the record, the dimensions for both bags (according to the tags) are as follows: BAG951W -75 x 32 x 18 (cm)ooooooooooooooooooooooo BAG1201W - 75 x 18 x 35 (cm) I also said "you can easily fit in 4 rackets" .... i didn't say "you can fit in 4 rackets max". You could probably squeeze in 6 rackets if you really really wanted to ..... but as a general rule of thumb, i don't think you should ever try to cram too many rackets into a small bag. However, if there is a need to bring a lot of rackets to your games, then a 6 or 9 racket bag would be a better bet and more suitable. I, personally, never bring more than 3 rackets to my games as there is no need for me to ..... so i just tried to put in 4 rackets (in a cloth bag) for this review. As you can see from the pics, the racket compartment isn't very wide to accommodate too many rackets. But as i have already brought this bag out for games already, i can put in: - My badminton shoes - 2 tubes of shuttles - My game shirt and shorts - My towel and wrist bands - Slippers - 3 rackets in cloth bags - Wallet, phone, keys and a PSP
It's a great bag ! ..... It may not have that professional-looking appearance, but neither do the colours make it look too very garish. You can consider it the 'Sport' version of the 951W/1111W 'Luxury/Business' version.

Hi there ..... The 1201W (JP) is not sold in Singapore .... you'll have to order online for it. As for the SP version, i don't think it's available in Singapore yet (if ever). However, there is a TW version which is sold in Sports Life in Far East Plaza. I have also seen one for sale in Queensway (should be TW version also) a month ago, but i think it has already been sold .... didn't see it the last time i was at Queensway.
guys im from Canada .. and im interested in this bag ( JP version) ... are there any other places other then shuttle house sells this bag???? and cheaper places????
ahh .... now THAT, is the question ! But seeing how they already have a TW version, there is a possibility we'll have other versions.
