I highly doubt you can see an immediate difference (4 hours). Even your body takes longer than that to heal. I'd say give it some time...days...weeks...even months.
According to some sources, Phiten products will shorten muscle recovery time. So, like the Panda say, give a little more time. I really don't see it has any neg effect. I really doubt the enhancement claim. I wounder where do people put them if it really works???
i kinda believe that magnetism could speed up recover and/or reduce pain but i dunno how copper, titanium, stainless steel, etc have to do with magnetism http://www.acemagnetics.com/sport-bands.html
Since you bought it from Ebay, is it possible that it is a fake Phiten necklace? Got any pictures of the original package and necklace? Maybe I can tell you if it is real or fake. You do know if it is a fake necklace, you'll feel zero effect.
Hmmm...can't believe.. ..our kwun actually fell for this.... Anyway, for what it's worth, here's a link i found abt the product: http://skeptico.blogs.com/skeptico/2005/07/titanium_neckla.html
Actually the products is effective. I'm a sceptic also. But after trying the products, i would say that i have confidence in their products. I have most of their products from Tapes,Bracelets,Necklace both new/ols and the limited editions,Supporters,Creams,Gels,Towels etc.. Even the Msian Teams are using it. Chen Jin,Cai Yun,Lindan,Taufik and other badminton players are avid users. They also can claim the effectiveness of Phiten Products. These people are not endorsers, they are users and they buy the products themselves.
Phiten® Titanium products promote pain relief and performance enhancement. Titanium emits energy that is effective in controlling the flow of bioelectric current. When this current is stabilized, the muscles relax and blood circulation increases, allowing for easier movement and pain relief. i didnt knew that titanium emits energy... I think i just solved the energy crisis
ahhhh, the energy is inside one's head jokes aside, i think these pseudo medicine might work on a small fraction of population, either psychologically or physically. The only way to tell is to buy and try it but then again, if everybody buy one, the seller's goal is met disclaimer: there is also a chance that a small fraction of population may have a 'negative' effect, depending on the product used
What about those Terminators ? Are they the predecessors of the machines in Matrix? The killing machines will evolve .
i tried the phiten bracelet until it was broken. we are talking about months. i didn't recognized any difference. may be it's because my wrist injury is beyond repair. my friend borrow the bracelet for a couple of days to test while it was new, he didn't notice any difference either. they are not expensive if u buy em in Japan. i'd say they are expensive after they are exported out of japan, esp when the effect is not that noticeable. i remember seeing baseball pro like randy johnson and others endorsing it. so i thought it may be useful. i like to see more BC members who has to this to give us some positive feedback on this.
yes, there are many many uncertified medical drugs/products out there and yes some them are truly useful like vitamins, tiger balm, bo jai yuen, etc. However, until i see doctors themselves using these metallic things to rearrange their electrical flow, i'm will be a fence sitter btw, magnet also improve fuel mileage too according to the seller
I too went through a phiten experience...hahaha...i bought it and then i was wearing it for 3 weeks....noticed no difference....o well...haha...it cost me 33$...what a waste...i say it's a scam...just like that Qray thingy that came out a couple of years ago...no offence to any phiten believers....just my opinion...HAHAHA.
