    yonex/Nanospeed

hello ppl, i am an intermediete player and i was thinking of gettting a Nanospeed series yonex racket, which series should i get, i was maybe thinking about 6000 possibnly 7000 or even 5000, and i wanted to know wat the differences are, price dont matter.

also if anyone has a guide or can find a guide on some website or on this forum that would be great, the trick shot i want to master is when ur not facing the net and u hit the birdy between ur legs while ur backwards not facing the net, jump if necessary.

    TY.

what if you hit the wrong birdie with a tennis racket? thats probably not as fast swing but with a heavier racket it might do even more damage.
a badminton racket is lighter but you swing it faster.

er.... "hits the wrong birdie", can be the jokes of the week...:D:D:D
lol = lots of love.... thank you
if you watch a lot of tennis matches, you will see them hit like that. chasing the ball back(facing opposite net) and hit the ball underneath. this seldom happened in women's game thou than man's games....(i know what you guys thinking). my guess is that the trajectory of shuttlecock and tennis ball is different. in badminton, either the shuttle is smashed or lob; either steep or almost 90 degree. where as tennis ball is bounce to ground first....

drift, probably because women singles (tennis), they tend not to rush to the net as much as men.

Damn, am I too late for the party? Has someone hit the "wrong Birdie"? Is the "birdie" dead yet? Anyone need a blue pill to revive the "birdie"?

The way you do that trick shot is to make sure you run past the bird (making sure it goes between your legs) and hit it in front of your back (or rather behind you at this point). You'll never hit the wrong bird because the angle where you're supposed to hit won't allow it.

ROFL! So far I haven't seen "wrong Birdie accident" coming from a trickshot with my own eyes.
I felt even more scared after reading that statement. :p

practice it, their no "guide" for it, its a trick shot and not necessary for a real game just to fool around at practice, so its all about timing, just like a regular shot: you need to practice it

You shouldhalf swing and then flick your wrist. If you swing longer, you might hit other type of "birdy". Not applicable for females.

You need a stiff shaft to pull it off. So the blue pill with V is needed.

daisuke opens a new thread because the last one people were talking more about "birdies" rather than the trickshot. seems like this thread is also heading in the same direction. too bad...lol

my opinion, just try it. there is no proper way to do it because its not a proper shot. try to do a low net first then as you get better at it, put more power into it.
