I've been a member for a couple of months now, but haven't really introduced myself. So here goes: Hello BC! You can call me HelloPanda. I'm a guy. (Just in case you thought otherwise because of the childish username) I just happen to like the food snack Hello Panda A LOT and thought it would be an easy username to remember. I am of Filipino/Chinese descent. I'm fairly new to badminton (6 months). I've played other racquet sports before though. Ping Pong at age 10 and Tennis at age 13. I'm currently a college student. Funny story on how I started playing badminton. (Maybe not too funny) I am a member of my college's ping pong club; but one day, practice was canceled. I went to another gym on campus to play ping pong, but it was closed also. I didn't want to go back to my apartment without having done anything. I remembered that my school had a badminton club and called a friend to check online when the club times were. Luckily, the club was meeting that day. So I bought myself an $18 racquet from the gym and went to the club. I've been obsessed ever since. I'm a left-hander and have since switched racquets twice. After 2 1/2 months, I switched from the $18 to Head Metallix 10000. Around 2 months after that, I switched to Yonex AT 900P. So that's pretty much it for now. A long brief introduction of myself. Hope to learn a lot from all of you.
